How to Add Roblox to Your Discord Status

November 30, 2022 By Arsalan Rauf

To add Roblox to your Discord status, the first thing is to join a Roblox game.

After joining a game, minimize the game and visit your Discord settings.

Once you reach your Discord settings, you need to turn on your activity status.

Discord will display the current game that you’re playing as your status after turning on your activity status.

For instance, if you’re playing Roblox, your status will be, “Playing Roblox”.

However, you have to play a game to show the status.

If you’re just goofing around the Roblox site, it will not show the “Playing Roblox” status.

Everyone will be able to see your Discord status such as server members as well as your friends.

Here’s a step by step guide on how to add Roblox to your Discord status:

Step 1. Join a Roblox game

The first task you need to perform is to join any Roblox game.

To show your discord status, you need to join a Roblox game for it.

First of all, visit the roblox.com and log in to your account.

Roblox mobile app does not support the Discord “Activity Status” feature which is why avoid playing the roblox mobile app.

The “Activity Status” feature is only accessible if you are playing a PC game.

After logging in to your Roblox account, the next task is to play a game.

Go to any Roblox game and click on the play button to begin it.

For instance, you can join the “Brookhaven RP” game.

Step 2. Minimize the game

After joining the game, the next thing is to minimize it.

This way, you will be able to open discord and for that, you need to open your settings.

You cannot close the window because Roblox will not be shown on your Discord status.

Click on the “-” icon on the window to minimize the game.

You need to keep in mind that if you are playing Roblox and discord status is not shown it means that you are playing the Roblox app.

Therefore, you can only play a Roblox game on your PC to show roblox to your discord status.

Step 3. Go to your Discord settings

After minimizing the Roblox game, the next step is to open Discord.

After reaching the Discord, you need to visit your settings.

You need to navigate there because you have to enable your activity status in your settings.

To get started, you need to click on the gear icon next to your profile picture.

Step 4. Turn on “Activity Status”

After clicking on the gear icon, you will be on the “My Account” settings.

There are multiple options available on the left sidebar.

There is an “Activity Status” option under the “Activity Settings” header.

To navigate to your“Activity Status” settings, click on “Activity Status”.

Next, you need to ensure that “Display current activity as a status message” is enabled.

If this is not enabled, you need to enable it by using the switch.

When “Display current activity as a status message” is enabled, the process will automatically update your status on Discord based on the game that you’re playing.

For instance, if you’re playing a Roblox game, your status will display that you are playing a roblox game.

If you are unable to see Roblox, you need to add it manually.

To get started, click on “Add it!”, click on the dropdown box, and click on “Roblox”.

After clicking on the “Roblox”, you will see a “Now playing!” section for Roblox.

Step 5. Check your status

After enabling the “Display current activity as a status message”, you will be able to check your Discord status now.

To get started, you can create a new Discord server with only you the member.

On the other hand, you can go to a server that contains a very few members.

You can see the list of members on the right sidebar of a server.

If you’ve opened an empty Discord server, the server will show you at the top of the member list.

Alternatively, if you’ve opened a server with a plenty of members, you need to scroll down the list of members to find your profile.

After locating your profile, there will be a “Playing ROBLOX” status under your Discord name.

If you click on your profile to expand it, it will also display how long you’re playing Roblox (e.g. ROBLOX for 5 minutes).

I hope that you have learned how to add Roblox to your Discord status!

Final Words

The “Activity Status” feature on Discord will show the game that you’re currently playing on Roblox as your status.

The feature allows Discord to automatically detect the game that you’re playing.

Sometimes, Discord might not be able to detect the game you are playing.

In this case, you need to manually add the game from “Activity Status”.

The process includes the steps: go to your Discord settings > Activity Settings > Activity Status > Add it!.

After clicking on “Add it!”, click on the dropdown box and choose “Roblox”.

It will add Roblox to the list of “Added Games”.

After doing so, whenever you play a game on Roblox, your status on Discord will show that you’re playing Roblox!

350+ Good Role Names For Your Discord Server

November 27, 2022 By Arsalan Rauf

Do you have a Discord server? If yes, then you need to create roles for it.

The roles enable you to organize the server the way you want it.

For example, if there are staff members, you can add a “Mod” role there.

The same is the case if you have a co-owner, you can come with a “Co-Owner” role as well.

By default, the discord server contains members that has an “@everyone” role.

This default role contains standard permissions such as sending messages, viewing channels and creating invites etc.

However, you can edit the role of the members to disable and enable certain permissions.

This post has more than 340 simple, good and aesthetic role names and role ideas for your discord server. You can go through the list below.

What do roles mean on Discord?

Roles enable you to organize the server members the way you want them and customize their permission too.

For instance, if there are staff members, you can assign roles to them, you can create an “Admin” and a “Mod” role.

The permissions can be customized for each role.

Typically, the role of “Admin” will have more permissions or authority as compared to a “Mod” role.

The “Mod” role has the permission to kick the members out.

Alternatively, the “Admin” role comes with a permission to kick as well as ban members.

There are some other permissions that can be allowed such as managing webhooks and viewing server insights.

After creating a role, the role can be manually assigned to the members.

How do I add color roles on Discord?

You need to visit your server settings to add color roles on Discord.

Once navigate to your server settings, click on “Roles”, and click on the role that you want to edit.

There will be a “Role Color” section on the “Display” tab.

Choose the color on the “Role Color” section that you want to add to the role.

In the end, click on “Save changes” to save your changes.

If a member gets a “Mod” role and the color of the role is green, the green color will also be applied to their name as well.

In short, the color of member’s name is linked to the color of their role.

Final Words

Adding roles to your Discord server is very necessary because it creates a hierarchy.

For instance, the “Owner”, “Co-Owner”, and “Admin” roles are at the top of the ranking.

Alternatively, the “@everyone” role is at the bottom of the ranking.

Additionally, adding roles is also important to organize your Discord server.

If everyone has a “@everyone” role, it is difficult to identify the staff member.

As a result, your Discord server will not be organized.

Have you seen any Discord server roles that you like in the list?

If you did, you should use them in your server too.

How to Get Midjourney AI

September 16, 2022 By Arsalan Rauf

Midjourney is an AI that generates art when you feed it keywords (and arguably it is the best tool to do it).

The popularity of this tool has increased in a short time as many artists, YouTubers, and bloggers promoted it.

The most popular video about Midjourney on YouTube is, “End of An Artist’s Career? A.I. Creates Art for You! – Complete Guide” which contains more than 4.5 million views.

The uploader of the video was PiXimperfect, hosted by Unmesh Dinda, an Indian YouTuber equipped with more than 4 million subscribers.

Another video with the title, “The AI that creates any picture you want, explained” by Vox had more than 1.5 million views.

Since then, the number of users of Midjourney is increased and you can say hundreds of thousands of people are using it.

In this post, I will guide you on how to get Midjourney AI to generate art and whether you can use it commercially.

How to Get Midjourney AI

How to get Midjourney AI:

  1. Firstly, go to the link and join the Midjourney Discord server: https://discord.com/invite/midjourney.
  2. After that, visit the newbies channel, for instance, #newbies-1, #newbies-31, #newbies-61).
  3. Use the “/imagine” command in order to start generating AI art.

Midjourney is currently in the open beta phase, which opens the doors for anyone to use the service by simply joining the Midjourney Discord server.

The first 25 prompts will be free for you to use—but you need to pay for the service after that.

Previously, the service was based on invite-only and an invite was necessary to use it.

You can also use Midjourney on any Discord server that contains it.

The bot can also be invited to your own Discord server and you can use it there.

You need to use the “/imagine” command followed by keywords in order to use the bot.

Let’s suppose that you want to generate art related to a realistic hamburger.

If that is the case, your command will be “/imagine hamburger, delicious, glistening, highly detailed”.

After doing so, the AI will take a few minutes to come up with 4 images based on your description.

Just remember that each user is limited to 25 prompts, it also includes upscales and variations.

Upscale can also be selected or make variations of the images.

Upscaling (U1, U2, U3, and U4) an image will increase its size and also improve the quality as well.

Making variations (V1, V2, V3, and V4) of an image will create 4 different styles of the image.

After using all 25 prompts, you have to subscribe to a plan (the service plan starts from $10 a month).

You can use the standard plan to make 200 prompts while the standard plan comes with unlimited prompts.

Can I use Midjourney commercially?

Yes, you can use Midjourney commercially if you have a paid membership (paid versions start from $10/month).

However, if you’re not a premium member, you will get a license to the Assets under the Creative Commons Noncommercial 4.0 Attribution International License.

If you’re an employee or owner of a company with more than $1 million USD a year in terms of revenue, you have to get a corporate membership plan in order to use the assets.

If you’re a paid member, you will be the owner of all the assets you generate.

It means that all of the images that you’ve generated can be used by you.
