To access age-restricted servers on Discord, your task is to enable “Allow access to age-restricted servers on iOS” using the desktop version of Discord.

After allowing the access to age-restricted servers, you’ll be able to use age-restricted servers on the Discord application.

You need to remember that you can only change this setting on Discord’s desktop version.

That is why you cannot change it on the mobile app of Discord because the app does not offer this option.

The “Allow access to age-restricted servers on iOS” feature will be disabled by default, so you need to enable it to get access.

After doing so, you have to force-close the Discord app and re-open it to apply changes.

Step 1. Click on the gear icon on the Discord’s desktop version

The first thing you need to do is to open the desktop version of Discord on your PC or computer.

You have to do it because access to age-restricted servers on the Discord mobile app is not possible.

There are multiple settings available on the left sidebar.

The settings are “My Account”, “User Profile”, “Authorized Apps”, and so on.

You need to click on “Privacy & Safety” in order to control your content and privacy restrictions.

You can control your direct message settings, server settings defaults on the “Privacy & Safety” settings and you can also control who can add you as a friend etc.

There is an “Allow access to age-restricted servers on iOS” option under “Server Privacy Defaults”.

By default, the option is not enabled, so you need to enable it.

Enable “Allow access to age-restricted servers on iOS” and close the page.

If you are less than 18 years old, you might need parental approval to make the change.

After that, force-close the Discord mobile app on your iOS device and re-open the app.

After re-opening of Discord, you will be able to access age-restricted/NSFW servers!

How do I bypass the age restriction on Discord?

To bypass the age restriction on Discord, the simple step is to set your age to 18 years old or above.

On the other hand, you can allow access to age-restricted servers on iOS.

The process can be completed on the desktop version of Discord by using the “Privacy & Safety” setting.

After enabling the “Allow access to age-restricted servers on iOS”, you need to force-close the Discord app and relaunch the app to apply the changes.

If you’ve accidentally set your age to under 18, you need to submit a request to change it.

What are age-restricted Discord servers?

Age-restricted Discord servers are those servers that have adult content.

The owners of these servers are required to mark channels that contain adult content as “NSFW” and the age-restriction will be added.

To get started, you need to give them your email address, phone number, and date of birth.

There is another thing to consider that use the same email address that is linked to your Discord account.

After doing so, take a photo of yourself holding an ID and a piece of paper that shows your full Discord tag.

A full Discord tag contains your username and the last 4 digits following it (e.g. Arsal#5555).

After submitting the appeal, you need to wait to get Discord response.
