Discord has come up with a new Soundboard function for servers that contain voice channels.

You can use it to play brief audio snippets that most members can hear in a voice channel.

The users have to join a voice channel to use the Soundboard feature, click on the Soundboard icon, and choose an audio clip to play.

Unluckily, some users also reported that the option is not showing up to them.

What is the Discord Soundboard?

The Discord Soundboard is a new option launched for voice channels on Discord servers.

Get the Discord Soundboard on an existing server

• Disable the community feature: Follow these steps: Go to the desktop version of Discord > Go to your server > right-click your server’s name > Server Settings > Community > Overview > Disable Community.
• Have less than 50 members: Follow these steps: Go to the desktop version of Discord > Go to your server > Right-click an inactive user on the right sidebar > Kick (keep kicking out the users until the remaining users are less than 50).

After fulfilling the requirements, you need to join a voice channel, select the Soundboard icon, and select an audio clip to play it.

1. Go to the Discord’s desktop version.
2. After that, Choose the “+” icon to add a new server.
3. Now, choose a template and give some details to Discord about your server.
4. Select a server name and select “Create”.

Discord Soundboard requirements:

• The community feature should be disabled.
• The server should not have more than 50 people.
• You have to use the desktop version of Discord.

Editor’s note: These requirements are not stated by Discord for the feature, after using it, I figured them out.

In the beginning, I tried to locate the Soundboard on my Discord server but it was not showing up.

To fix the Discord Soundboard not showing up on a server, the first thing you need to do is to disable the community feature if it’s enabled.

If your Discord server has more than 50 people, you need to kick some of them out.

If you are on Discord mobile app, you need to switch to the desktop version of Discord.

1. Go to your Discord server.
2. After that, right-click the server’s name.
3. Choose “Server Settings”.
4. Under “Community”, you need to select “Overview”.
5. Lastly, select “Disable Community”.

2. After that, right-click on an inactive user.

To get someone’s IP on Discord, the first thing you need to do is to create a Grabify link and customize it.

After customizing the link, share it on Discord, and wait for someone to click it.

Lastly, revisit the Grabify website, refresh the page, and it will give you the IP address of anyone who clicked the link and you will be able to see it.

It also allows you to view their location, user agent, referring URL, and so on.

Note: It’s highly suggested that you update the domain to something that is hard to guess that it’s a Grabify link.

#4 Step: Share the link on Discord

1. Go to Discord and share the link with someone or a Discord server.
2. Another important thing to consider is to include a clickbaity caption so that people will be inclined to click it.
3. Wait for someone to click on the link.

#5 Step: View the IP address of anyone who clicked the link

1. Visit the Grabify website again.
2. Refresh the page.
3. Scroll down to reach “Results”.
4. It will show you the IP address, country, and user agent of anyone who clicked the link.

To use the quality parameter, you must add the –q 2 parameter as the default quality is –q 1, and use it at the end of the /imagine command.

1. Use the /imagine command for instance, /imagine burger.
2. At the end of the command, Add –q 2 (for example, /imagine burger –q 2).
3. Select the image that you want to upscale.
4. To expand it, click on the upscaled image.
5. Right-click the image and select “Save Image” to save it.
6. Save the image to your laptop or PC.

According to the Midjourney documentation, the latest version of the bot can support up to –q 2.

The spent time on creating an image depends on the quality parameter.

As higher-quality settings will take a while to generate and process more details.

The image resolution will not be affected by the quality parameter, but it also boosts the quality of the image.

If you want to disable the theme, it can be done by turning off the switch of the theme.
