Last Updated on July 29, 2022 By Arsalan Rauf

Shaggy is another ideal character in MultiVersus due to his early kill power.

If you want to play with Shaggy, you should swap the grounded side and neutral attack.

To do that, visit your Settings > Controls > Controller > Swap Grounded Side And Neutral Attack.

This will enable you to jump and attack without any delay.

Additionally, your fall attack will be as a nice charge and your jab is on neutral.

In this post, I will tell you the best Shaggy combos in MultiVersus, moves with inputs, and a legend for them.

Input guide for Shaggy

Input legend

Last Updated on July 29, 2022 By Arsalan Rauf

Taz used to be one of the top characters in MultiVersus due to his tornado ability.

However, his tornado ability recently got ineffective that is why now, it’s less damaging.

Currently, one reason to play with Taz in the game is due to his passive.

Taz’s attacks cause a lot of damage where you’ll have to stack it.

If you knock back your opponent, you’ll get Tasty stacks.

When you reach 16 stacks, it will transform your opponent into a chicken and they cannot attack.

He is equipped with many great moves.

The moves are the up special, neutral special, and the down ground attack.

Finn contains a lot of combo starters such as his up-ground attack that sends him flying in the air.

You can also jump on top of someone and you can also use the down air attack to begin a combo.

In this post, I will tell you the best Finn combos in MultiVersus, moves with inputs, and a legend for them.

Input guide for Finn

As Finn, the best thing is to pay attention to become neutral.

It demands you to stay at the center of the map and keep your enemies at the side of it.

Finn is an assassin class so he gets 15% more damage.

However, he’s very fast in his moves and causes a lot of damage.

Jake Combos in MultiVersus

Last Updated on July 29, 2022 By Arsalan Rauf

Superficially, the combos of Jake are unintuitive and his combos seem lackluster.

However, Jake’s moves can give rise to the opportunities to combo your opponent and cause a lot of damage.

Jake’s many combos can be looped including the n-air d-air combo.

This enables you to get creative and combo your rival in multiple ways.

Having said that, not every combo is up to the mark—some of them can be only utilized in specific circumstances.

In this post, I will tell you the best Jake combos in MultiVersus, moves with inputs, and a legend for them.

Input guide for Jake

Input legend

  • DC: Dodge Cancel
  • Jab: Side attack on the ground
  • N: Neutral
  • D: Down
  • S: Side
  • U: Up
  • Light (for instance. S-Light): Ground attack in the corresponding direction
  • Air (for example, S-Air): Aerial attack in the corresponding direction
  • Special (for example, S-Special): Special attack in the corresponding direction

Jake Combos in MultiVersus

Jake combos in MultiVersus

  • Jab 1, U-Light
  • Jab 1, N-Special
  • N-Air, D-Air
  • D-Air 1, N-Air
  • N-Air, S-Air
  • S-Air, N-Air
  • U-Air 1, N-Air
  • N-Air, N-Special
  • D-Air 1, DC, N-Special
  • D-Air 1, DC, U-Special
  • S-Special, N-Air
  • U-Special, U-Air
  • U-Special, N-Air

*The numbers are used to mark the individual parts of a move with multiple hits (for example, D-Air 1 will be the first hit of Jake’s skateboard attack).

You can use your creativity and combine the combos to cause massive damage to your enemy.

However, combining the combos is not always fruitful, so the ideal way is to use them in the right circumstances.

For perks, “Triple Jump” is standard, and “Collateral Damage” synergizes well with the kit of Jake.

Jake moves in MultiVersus

Jake basic attacks

  • Eat Spikes!/Belly Bump – Neutral + Attack
  • Funky Junk – Side + Attack
  • You Axe’d For It!/Mace In Yo Face – Up + Attack
  • Splits!/Where’s My Halfpipe? – Down + Attack

Jake special attacks

  • Rubber Stomach, Dude! – Neutral + Special
  • Giddy Up! – Side + Special
  • Stretchin’ Out – Up + Special
  • That’s Heavy, Dude – Down + Special

Passive abilities

  • Nil – Jake does not contain any passive abilities.

Jake is a bruiser and he is an ideal choice to bully your enemies.

He is perfect in terms of attacking in all directions and one of his best moves is his side air attack (S-Air).

You should use this move as much as possible because it is a great combo starter and finisher.

His neutral air attack (N-Air) is another ideal way to keep your enemies at arm’s length.

How to Turn on Mature Language in MultiVersus

Last Updated on July 28, 2022 By Arsalan Rauf

MultiVersus is rated “Teen” by ESRB due to fantasy violence in it.

The game also contains mature language, but by default, it’s disabled.

If it’s disabled, the game’s characters cannot use profanities in their dialogues.

Usually, a “Teen” rating is ideal for people aged 13 years old and above.

In this post, I will tell you what is mature language in MultiVersus is and how to turn it on.

What is mature language in MultiVersus?

Mature language in MultiVersus is an additional language option in the game that is disabled by default.

When you enable it, some characters will get new voice lines that have profanities.

The characters who use mature language are Batman and Harley Quinn.

Having said that, the mature language in MultiVersus will not be indecent as compared with other games including Mortal Kombat, because the game is rated “Teen” and not “M”.

How to turn on mature language in MultiVersus

  1. Firstly, go to Steam and launch MultiVersus.
  2. Click on the gear icon.
  3. Now, select “Audio/Language”.
  4. Enable “Mature Language” under “Language”.
  5. Lastly, click on “Yes”.

After clicking on “Yes”, some characters will have new voice lines that have mature language.

You can hear the voice lines while playing a match with the characters.

Family-friendly characters do not curse in the game because their personalities will be affected.

The family friend characters are Steven Universe, Finn, and Jake.

Alternatively, characters like Harley Quinn are famous for cursing in various animations and movies.

Gamers of all ages can play MultiVersus, so mature language is disabled by default.

For now, inappropriate voice lines are limited, the reason for this is that majority of the characters in the game are family-friendly.

After updates of the game, more characters will be added to the game—which will make room for more mature language or lines.

If you’re using a Wi-Fi network, you need to switch to a wired connection instead.

After you are using wired, try playing a match.

If this method works (and you’re able to play the game), you can try changing back to a Wi-Fi network.

A wired connection will need an Ethernet cable and an Ethernet port to function.

To establish the connection, your task is to plug one end of the Ethernet cable into your router and the other end into the Ethernet port on your device.

Unluckily, if you don’t have an Ethernet cable or port, this method is not for you.

Method 2. Wait for MultiVersus to fix the issue

The “You have disconnected” error is occurring due to a bug in MultiVersus.

Many users are posting it in the MultiVersus forum.

A username named as “OathkeeperXI” is the first person to report the bug.

He was connected to the server in the “USA” and he was playing the game on his Xbox (Xbox Series X).

A Twitter username @AdamKorkorki published a tweet that he keeps getting disconnected when he enters a game on Xbox.

The official @WBGamesSupport Twitter account responded to his tweet by saying that the game team is aware of the issue.

Additionally, they are investigating the bug and working on a fix, they added.

If you’re experiencing the “You have been disconnected” error, the ideal way is to wait for a fix.

In the meantime, you can use a different device to play MultiVersus.

For instance, if you’re playing the game on an Xbox, you can use a PC or PS4/PS5 to play the game.

If you need additional help, a direct message can be sent to @WBGamesSupport on Twitter or tag them in a tweet to get a reply.
