How to delete all of your TikTok posts

To delete all of your TikTok posts, you have to delete the videos one by one or delete your account.

Another way to deal with it is by hiding your videos instead of deleting them, the video can be hidden by changing their privacy setting to “Only me”.

You will be the one who can view them by changing your videos’ privacy settings to “Only me”.

The public on TikTok will be unable to see your videos if they visit your TikTok profile.

Deleting your TikTok account will also remove your entire profile including your videos.

If you want to delete all of your videos at once, you need to delete your account and this is an ideal way.

#1: Delete your TikTok account

  1. Firstly, go to TikTok and go to your profile.
  2. Tap on the menu icon.
  3. Then, tap on “Settings and privacy”.
  4. Select “Manage account”.
  5. Tap on “Delete account”.
  6. Now, tap on “Skip”.
  7. Check the checkbox and tap on “Continue”.
  8. Now, tap on “Continue”.
  9. Enter the 4-digit code.
  10. Tap on “Delete” twice to delete your account.

Deleting your TikTok account will delete all of your posts/videos.

This is the only method to remove all of your posts at once.

Your account on TikTok will be deactivated for 30 days before its permanently deleted.

It means that you can reactivate your TikTok’s account within 30 days by logging in to the app.

#2: Delete your videos one be one

  1. Firstly, go to TikTok and go to your profile.
  2. Tap on the video that you want to delete.
  3. Now, tap on the three dots.
  4. Then, scroll to the right of the carousel and tap on “Delete”.
  5. Repeat the process and delete all of your other videos individually.

Deleting your videos one by one is highly recommended if you don’t have a lot of videos on your TikTok account.

The more videos you have, the harder it is to remove all of them.

If you have hundreds of videos and you want to remove all of them at once, it’s suggested that you delete your TikTok account instead of deleting them individually.

In addition, you can also switch to a private account to stop the public from watching your videos.

To move to private account, go to your profile > Menu > Settings and privacy > Privacy > Private account > Enable.

#3: Private all of your videos

  1. Firstly, go to TikTok and go to your profile.
  2. Tap on the video which you want to delete.
  3. Tap on the three dots.
  4. Now, scroll to the right of the carousel and tap on “Privacy settings”.
  5. Select “Only me”.
  6. Repeat the process to remove the rest of your videos.

Instead of deleting all of your TikTok posts/videos, the ideal way is to private all of them.

When you make your videos private, it will prevent the public and your followers from watching them.

If you set the privacy of your videos to “Only me”, it will also prevent them from viewing them.

It is a better option than deleting videos because you can recover them whenever you want.

If you want to show them to the public, you can change the privacy of your videos back to “Everyone” whenever you want.

Can I delete all of my TikTok videos at once?

The only method you can use to delete all of your TikTok videos at once is to delete your account.

When you delete your TikTok account, as a result, all of your videos will be removed too.

Before you get rid of your TikTok account, you need to ensure that you download a copy of your data.

It can be done by going to your profile > Menu > Settings and privacy > Privacy > Download your data.

Also, you need to save all of your videos too.

Can I mass delete TikToks?

Currently, TikTok does not have an option to mass delete videos, there is no information about it whether they will add it in the future or not.

How to add multiple accounts on TikTok

To add multiple accounts on TikTok, go to your profile and tap on the dropdown arrow.

After that, tap on “Add account” to add an existing account or create a new one.

If you do not have a new account, it can be created by tapping on one of the multiple sign-up options.

However, you must not use the same sign up option that you used when you were creating the main account.

Alternatively, if you already have an existing account, you can use it to log in.

At the bottom of sign-up page, you will need to tap on “Log in” to do it.

After adding a new account, you can easily switch between accounts by using the dropdown arrow on your profile again.

After that, switch to that account that you want to use by tapping on it.

Here are the steps you need to follow on how you can add multiple accounts on TikTok:

Step 1. Visit your TikTok profile & tap on the dropdown arrow

Go to TikTok > tap on the “Me” icon on the bottom bar.

The first thing you need to do is to tap on the dropdown arrow on your profile.

First of all, go to TikTok on your mobile device.

Just remember that you shouldn’t use TikTok on a desktop as the desktop version does not allow you to add multiple accounts there.

After opening TikTok, tap on the “Me” icon at the bottom bar.

After tapping on the “Me” icon, it will take you to your profile.

Your TikTok username will be visible on your profile with a dropdown arrow at the top bar.

At the top bar, you need to tap on the dropdown arrow.

Move on to the next step to find out how to add an additional account on TikTok.

Step 2. Tap on “Add account”

To add a new TikTok account, tap on “Add account”.

After tapping on the dropdown arrow, it will open a navigation menu.

You will see all the account of TikTok that you have added in the navigation menu.

For instance, if you’ve added two accounts, both accounts will be available on the menu.

By tapping on one of them, you can switch between accounts.

Your currently logged in account will show a tick with it.

It means that the account without a tick will be the account you are not currently logged into.

If your additional account is not added, you have to add it first.

You can use it to log in to an existing account or create a new one on TikTok.

Step 3. Sign up for a new account

Register a new TikTok account or log in to an existing account.

After tapping on “Add account”, it will take you to the sign-up page.

There are multiple sign-up options on the page such as “Continue with phone or email”, “Continue with Facebook”, “Continue with Apple”, and “Continue with Google”.

To expand the list of sign up options, you need to tap on the dropdown arrow.

There is a “Log in” option at the bottom of the page.

If you have not created a second account on TikTok yet, you have to create one from one of the sign-up options.

However, avoid using the same sign-up option that you have used for the main account.

For instance, if you’ve created an account using Facebook, for the second account, use another sign-up option (e.g. Gmail) to create a new account.

If you already own another account, just sign in to it by tapping on the “Log in” option available at the bottom of the page.

Step 4. Follow the instructions on the screen

To create a new account, follow the on-screen instructions.

After tapping on a sign-up option from the previous step, the next thing is to enter your birthday.

To sign up for an account on TikTok, your age should not be less than 13 years.

If you are less than 13 years old, the app will not let you sign up.

So, when choosing your birthday, you need to select an age over 13 years.

After that, you have to provide your phone number or email.

After that, choose a password for the account and tap on the tick icon to finalize the sign up process.

After signing up, the next thing is to verify your email or phone number.

If you have used your email, you will get a verification link on your email and tap on it to verify your account.

You have to verify your account so TikTok algorithm does not mark you as a bot or spam account.

  4. Under “Cache and Cellular Data”, tap on “Clear Cache” to clear the cached data.

When you tap on the option of “Clear Cache”, there will be no pop-up message for confirmation to verify the decision.

Instead, it will clear the cache automatically.

So, you need to keep in mind that if you tap the button, the cache will be cleared on TikTok and many users do that.

You do not have to worry about losing anything because the process will not delete anything important.

Clearing cache will just free up some space on your android phone.

Furthermore, you can also clear cache from the settings section if you are doing it on Android device.

I did an experiment to find out whether the process will delete drafts or not.

Here are the details of steps I took:

  1. To get started, I made a recording of a 15-second video.
  2. Next, I save that video in the drafts.
  3. Now, it is available in my profile.
  4. After that, I cleared the cache of the application from the settings.
  5. Lastly, I visited my profile to see the draft, it was there.

The previous experiment shows that clearing cache on TikTok will not delete the drafts.

To conclude, your drafts are safe after the process.

Does clearing cache on TikTok delete liked videos?

No, when you delete the cache on TikTok, it does not delete your liked videos.

Your liked videos, videos, and drafts will not be deleted when you clear the cache on TikTok.

Your liked videos will not be removed from the app if you clear the cache.

I did an experiment to find out whether the process will delete liked videos or not.

Here are the details of steps I took:

  1. First of all, I liked a few videos on the “For You” page (FYP) on the app.
  2. The next thing I did to check the previous liked videos and the videos that I have just liked were there.
  3. After doing so, I cleared the cache of the app from the settings page.
  4. Finally, I checked my liked videos again after clearing cache, they were still there.

The previous experiment shows that deleting the cache on TikTok will not delete liked videos.

So, you should not be worried about deleting the cache as it will not clear anything important.

If I clear cache on TikTok will it delete my videos?

No, when you delete the cache on TikTok, your videos will remain safe.

Your videos will remain in your profile unless you delete them manually or any of your videos violates the guidelines of TikTok.

  1. Firstly, I made a couple of videos and posted them on application.
  2. The video are now available in my profile.

  4. Finally, I went back to check my videos they were still there.

This experiment also proves that your videos will not be deleted if you clear cache on TikTok.

In a nutshell, clearing cache is available to free up storage space on your operating system. Further, it solves some minor issues that you face while using the app.

The blue search comment on TikTok is a feature that can help you to link searches with your comment.

Linked comments will be shown in blue with a search icon and you can choose it as it is highlighted.

When you select a blue search comment, it will take you to the search results for that term.

For instance, if you’ve used “Dance”, it will take you to the “Dance” search results.

The aim of TikTok is to become a competitor of Google search.

However, every comment section does not have blue search comments.

The reason behind it is that every comment is not relevant to the video.

If the comment is related to the video, it will be algorithmically turned into a blue search comment.

How to do the blue search comment on TikTok

To do the blue comment on TikTok, the first part is to find the keyword(s) of the video (for instance, Schumacher).

After finding the keyword(s) of the video, the next part is to use them in your comment such as Schumacher or Latifi.

After that, the algorithm of TikTok will transform your comment into a blue search comment if it’s related to the video.

Note: it is not possible to do the search comments all by yourself as it is decided algorithmically.

Here are the steps on how to link searches in the comments:

With this method, it is more likely to make your comment into blue search comment.

However, it does not work 100% of the time as it depends on algorithm.

Having said that, here are some tricks that can be used to get the blue search comment almost all the time:

  • Go to the comment section and find existing blue search comments.
  • Copy the blue keyword(s) and add them in your comment.
  • For instance, if there’s an existing blue search comment in the comment section like “Arsalan Rauf”, using it in your comment will make it a blue search comment almost all the time.

Editor’s note: After using the method 4-5 times, I was able to turn all of my comments into blue search comments.

The best way is to use the popular videos on the “For You” page because they are replete with comments.

Consequently, TikTok’s system will be able to detect if you have used keywords in your comment that is related to the video.

If the system is succeeded, that keyword will be linked to the search results and TikTok users can use it to reach the keyword’s search result.

If the video is new, it will be hard for the algorithm to decide if certain keywords in your comment are relevant to it or not.

As a result, it will reduce the chances of the keyword in your comment turning into a link.

That is the reason, my suggestion is to use the method on a popular video on the “For You” page instead of using your friend’s or your own videos.

To report an issue, you need to Tap on “Report a problem” on TikTok app.

After tapping on the “Report a problem”, you will reach the page “Feedback and help”.

The frequently asked questions (FAQs) are available on the “Feedback and help” page and topics that is relevant to your problem so you can select from them.

You need to choose a related topic to your issue in order to report a problem.

For instance, if you want to update your birthday on TikTok app, you need to opt for the “Account and Profile” option to get started.

After choosing the related topic, the page will show the screen that may contain some information.

There are two buttons of “Yes” or “No” available under the information.

If your issue is not solved, you need to Tap on “No”.

Do not tap on “Yes” otherwise, you will not be able to contact TikTok in order to report your problem.

After tapping on “No” button, you will come across a “Still have problem” option.

This option “Still have problem” enables users to explain and report the problem on TikTok app.

This option will only occur if you’ve tapped on the “No” button on the previous step.

To report the issue, you need to Tap on “Still have problem”.

In the end, you’ll reach the “Report a problem” page.

Describe your issue in detail under the header of “Tell us your feedback”.

For instance, if you want to update your age, you need to explain that you’ve set an incorrect birthday which is why you want to update it to your original birthday.

To report this issue to TikTok, now, tap on “Report” to report it.

After doing that, you can find the reports on the support tickets page and you can reach it by tapping on the “Edit” icon on the “Feedback and help” page.

The second way to contact TikTok is to use the feedback form of TikTok app.

This feedback form enables you to explain the problem in detail that you’d like to report.

In addition, you can use the form to share your experience and feedback on TikTok too.

You can Google for the term “TikTok feedback” and click on the first search result.

You need to provide your email address to use the form.

Your TikTok username is can also be used but it is optional, I recommend you use it.

You need to describe the problem you are experiencing on TikTok on the “What would you like to tell us?” field.

In the end, you can upload attachments to show the issue visually, you are allowed up to 10 attachments.

After filling up the form, you need to choose “Submit” to submit it.

You will receive an answer from TikTok on the email you have given while submitting the form.

The third way to contact TikTok is via email.
