How to Fix Music Not Showing on Instagram Notes

Last Updated on July 8, 2023 By Arsalan Rauf

Instagram Notes is a feature that can be used to share your feelings in the form of text and emojis

They are short posts that allow you to use up to 60 characters and you can share them with followers or people on the Close friends list.

The notes are shown at the top of the inboxes of the recipients for 24 hours and replies are sent as DM.

It is a casual and lightweight option that creates a spontaneous way for users to show their thoughts during the conversations.

Recently, Instagram has added a Music feature for notes, which can be used to add songs to Notes.

However, there are many users who reported that the option is missing on both iOS and Android devices.

In this article, I will tell you how to fix the music feature not showing, missing, or not working on Instagram Notes.

Why can’t I add music on Instagram Notes?

You can’t add music on Instagram Notes because the feature is not available in your area yet.

Currently, the Music feature for Notes option is going through a testing process.

It indicates that a limited number of users can access it for now.

If you do not have the feature, it means it is not rolled out to you yet.

Some users also stated that the Music is available in their second account and the main account does not have it.

Hence, you can try changing accounts to find out if you have the option.

The rest of the users reported that the feature is not shown at all.

Instagram is famous for releasing certain updates or features to certain countries first.

For instance, beta features are usually launched in countries like the US, Canada, and the United Kingdom.

Asia countries such as Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, etc., will be able to get it later.

How to fix Music not showing on Instagram Notes

To fix Music not showing on Instagram Notes, the first step is to update Instagram from the App Store or the Google Play Store.

On the other hand, you can also use a secondary Instagram account to sign in and see if you have the option.

To update Instagram, visit the App Store or Google Play Store, search for “Instagram”, and tap on “Update” if it has any.

After updating the app, open it to find out if you have the Music feature.

To do this, go to your direct messages, select “Your note”, tap on the Music icon, choose the song that you want to add, tap on the tick icon, and tap on “Share”.

You can edit the portion of the song to select the portion you want to play before you use the tick icon.

Instagram users can view the music that you have added to your note but cannot listen to it.

How to Fix “We’ve detected automated behavior on your account” on Instagram

Last Updated on July 7, 2023 By Arsalan Rauf

Are you facing a “We’ve detected automated behavior on your account” warning on Instagram?

The full error is, “To prevent your account from being temporarily restricted or permanently disabled”.

Accompanied by, “Ensure that no other users or tools have access to your account”.

And, “And that you’re following our Terms of Use”.

You will get this warning when you’re logged into Instagram from a third-party app or website.

However, some users may receive the warning even though they are not using them.

In this article, I will tell you how to fix the “We’ve detected automated behavior on your account” warning on Instagram.

Why did Instagram detect automated behavior on my account?

Instagram detected automated behavior on your account because you’ve used a third party website or app and logged into it using your Instagram account information.

According to Instagram’s Help Center, you should refrain from using apps that offer followers and likes as they steal information about your account.

Apps that help you to track your followers, following, or other insights may also cause the warning.

Accounts that try to violate the community guidelines of Instagram or use a third-party website or app to get likes and followers, you may get your account disabled.

If you didn’t use any third-party app or website, it indicates that there is a bug from Instagram’s side that is causing it.

How to fix “We’ve detected automated behavior on your account” on Instagram

To fix “We’ve detected automated behavior on your account” on Instagram, the best bet is to remove all third-party apps and websites that are connected to your Instagram account.

To do this task, follow these steps: Go to Instagram > Profile > Menu > Settings and Privacy> Website permissions > Apps and Websites> Remove all active apps and websites.

Here are the steps on how to remove all active apps and websites:

  1. Go to the Instagram app and visit your profile.
  2. Tap on the menu icon.
  3. Now, choose “Settings and privacy”.
  4. Scroll down to select “Website permissions”.
  5. Choose “Apps and websites”.
  6. Remove all active apps and websites.

If you have not connected your Instagram account to any third-party app or website, it indicates that you are facing the warning by mistake due to a glitch.

In this case, you should ignore the warning and you will not receive it again once the bug is fixed.

How to Fix “The link you followed may be broken, or the page may have been removed” on Instagram

Last Updated on July 7, 2023 By Arsalan Rauf

Are you facing a “Sorry, this page isn’t available” error on Instagram?

The next part of the error is, “The link you followed may be broken”.

Accompanied by, “Or the page may have been removed. Go back to Instagram”.

You get this error when you click on an Instagram link from another app or website.

For instance, it occurs when you tap the icon of Instagram from a TikTok’s profile of anyone.

In this article, I will tell you how to fix “The link you followed may be broken, or the page may have been removed” on Instagram (Chrome, Safari, or website).

Why is the link I followed broken on Instagram?

The link you followed may be broken on Instagram because you are signed out of Instagram.

If you’re not logged in to Instagram, the Instagram link of any page will be unavailable to you.

It usually happens because of a bug or a glitch happening on Instagram servers because it is not necessary for you to sign in in order to watch other profiles.

If it is not happening due to a bug/glitch, it indicates that the user’s profile is either banned or does not exist.

It can also happen when the link has an invalid username that is either changed or misspelled.

If you are already signed into Instagram but it shows that the page is not available, it can also mean that the person blocked you.

To find out whether it is true or not, you can use another Instagram account and sign in to it and go to the person’s Instagram profile again.

Having said that, most people get the “The link you followed may be broken, or the page may have been removed” error on Instagram when they use another application or a website to go to that Instagram link.

For instance, you might face an error message when you are on someone’s TikTok profile and you tap on the Instagram icon.

Or, you can also encounter it when you explore the Twitter bio of someone and tap on the Instagram link available there.

The page is not available either because you’re visiting a banned account, you are not logged in to Instagram, or it has an invalid username (misspelled/changed), or you’re blocked.

How to fix “The link you followed may be broken, or the page may have been removed” on Instagram

To fix “The link you followed may be broken, or the page may have been removed” on Instagram, the first thing you should do is exit incognito mode by opening a new tab or window.

After that, access Instagram from your desktop by visiting Instagram.com and sign into your account.

Next, you will click on the Instagram link, it will show you the page (as long as you’re logged in).

Here is a step-by-step guide on how to fix the error message:

  1. Exit private or incognito mode on your browser.
  2. Visit instagram.com and sign in to your Instagram account.
  3. Now, you will be able to see the page for any Instagram link that you visit.

Editor’s note: The page for any Instagram link will be available if you remain logged in to Instagram regardless of the platform you are using whether it is on mobile or PC.

You should not use the incognito or private mode of your browser to stay signed in, otherwise, you will be logged out of Instagram when you leave the tab.

After testing the error, I have come to know that “The link you followed may be broken, or the page may have been removed” error happens you go to someone’s Instagram profile when you’re not signed in to Instagram.

For instance, I went to someone’s TikTok profile and tapped on the Instagram icon from the user’s bio but the page was not available.

After that, I tested the Twitter bio by going to someone’s Instagram link from the bio but the same error message was shown.

Apparently, the error is from Instagram’s end and the temporary one due to a bug, as previously it was not essential for users to stay logged in to see the Instagram profiles of other users.

To bypass this error, you have to remain logged in, this process will help you to go to the Instagram link from a browser such as Chrome or safari.

How to Fix Invite Collaborator Not Showing on Instagram

Last Updated on May 24, 2023 By Arsalan Rauf

Is the “Invite Collaborator” option missing on Instagram?

You can get the error when you try to invite a collaborator to a post.

You can use Instagram collabs to co-author content with other accounts.

To make an account a collaborator, the original author needs to tag the account.

The person who gets tagged gets the right to accept or deny the request.

If the person chooses to accept the request, the post will be available for their followers and on their profile.

In this article, I will tell you how to fix the Invite Collaborator option not showing, not working, or missing on Instagram.

Why is the Invite Collaborator option not showing on Instagram?

The Invite Collaborator option is not showing on Instagram because it needs a business account and you don’t have it.

The completion will require adding a name, website, following others and inviting your friends.

Solution 2: Set your account to public instead of private

  1. Follow these steps: Go to Instagram > Profile > Menu.
  2. Settings > Privacy > Private account.
  3. Disable “Private account”.

Editor’s help: After setting your account to public, you will be able to invite someone to collab with you. If you’re still not able to collab, the next thing you need to do is to move to a business account and wait for 48 hours instead.

Solution 3: Allow people to tag you on Instagram

  1. Follow these steps: Go to Instagram > Profile > Menu.
  2. Settings > Privacy > Posts.
  3. Set “Allow Tags From” to “Everyone”.

How to Fix Meta Verified Option Not Showing on Instagram

Last Updated on May 3, 2023 By Arsalan Rauf

Meta is releasing a new subscription bundle known as “Meta Verified” on Instagram.

This subscription will help users to get a blue checkmark along with new features.

It is same as the Twitter Blue subscription in which the users pay a monthly subscription to add blue checkmark on their Twitter account.

Meta is still testing the verified subscription and it is currently available in certain countries.

In this article, I will tell you why is the Meta Verified option not showing on Instagram and how to fix it.

Why is the Meta Verified option not showing on Instagram?

The Meta Verified option is not showing on Instagram because the option is not available in your country/region yet.

It is currently supported in the United States, Australia, and New Zealand for people 18 years old or above.

You will not be able to use the bundle, if you are not living in any of these countries.

Additionally, Meta has allowed personal accounts only to get Meta verified and they are eligible for it.

Business accounts are not eligible which is why they cannot get the bundle subscription.

How to fix Meta Verified option not showing on Instagram

To fix Meta Verified option not showing on Instagram, the first thing you need to do is to join the waitlist.

While joining the waitlist and you choose marketing-related electronic communications, you will receive a notification when Meta Verified is available to you.

Here’s a step by step guide on how to join the waitlist for Meta Verified:

  1. Visit an Instagram profile that is currently Meta Verified.
  2. Tap on the username of the person.
  3. Select “Join the waitlist for Meta Verified”.

If you’re getting issues with joining the waitlist, you can join it using this link.

Meta Verified is currently only available in certain countries including the USA, Australia, and New Zealand.

If you are a resident of any of these countries and the options is not visible to you, try updating Instagram.

The eligibility criteria for Meta Verified include the age, it must be at least 18 years old and you should have a personal account.

If you try to violate Instagram’s Terms of Use or Community Guidelines, the feature can be disabled or canceled at any time for you.
