It includes options such as FPS boost, reduces lag spikes and provides smoother gameplay.

OptiFine also adds HD textures, dynamic lights, shaders and variable render distance.

It helps in configurable smooth lighting, and performance optimization features such as Advanced OpenGL and VSync.

It gives you control over mipmaps, fog, anisotropic filtering, and antialiasing.

The mod also boosts grass, snow, and water clarity, custom sky textures, random mobs, connected textures, and natural textures with it.

How to Change Your Email Address on Nintendo

Last Updated on August 31, 2023 By Arsalan Rauf

Do you have an old email address that you do not use now?

If yes, you should change your email address on Nintendo.

This process will allow you to get updates from Nintendo to your new email address instead of your outdated email.

If you have access to your old email, you can update your email address on Nintendo.

Unluckily, if you have lost access to your old email address, you will not be able to change it.

The reason behind this is that you have to verify your email address whenever you try to make a security change.

If you no longer have access to it, you will not be able to get a verification code.

In this case, you will have to create a new Nintendo account.

In this article, I will tell you how to change your email address on Nintendo.

How to change your email address on Nintendo

To change your email address on Nintendo, the first thing you need to do is visit the Nintendo website and log in to your account.

After that, you can update your email address by using the “Edit” beside the “E-mail address” header.

You have to verify your old and new email addresses in order to change your email address.

it will also prove that you have access to both email addresses.

If you are not the owner of your old email address and you cannot access it, you won’t be able to change it.

The reason behind this is that you won’t be able to receive a verification code.

In this case, as a last resort, you have to create a new Nintendo account from your new email address.

Here a step-by-step guide on how to change your Nintendo email address:

Step 1. Go to the Nintendo website & click on “Log in / Sign up”

The first thing you need to do is to go to the Nintendo website.

First of all, visit Google and search for the term “Nintendo”.

After that, click on the search result that has the title, “Nintendo – Official Site”.

On the other hand, you can go to Nintendo’s website by using this link: https://www.nintendo.com/.

After reaching the site, it will show you a “Log in / Sign up” icon on the top bar.

To visit the login and sign-up page of Nintendo, you need to click on “Log in / Sign up”.

Step 2. Click on “Sign in”

After clicking on the “Log in / Sign up” icon, it will take you to the login and sign-up page of Nintendo.

It will show you a couple of buttons on the page.

The options are “Sign in” and “Create a Nintendo Account”.

The “Sign in” button is available for users who are already members and want to sign in to their Nintendo account.

Alternatively, the “Create a Nintendo Account” is for new users who want to create a Nintendo account to sign in.

Since you want to change your email address on Nintendo, you will click on “Sign in”.

Step 3. Sign in to your Nintendo account

After clicking on “Sign in”, it will take you to the sign-in page of Nintendo.

After that, the next step is to sign in to your Nintendo account.

It will show you a couple of fields on the sign-in page.

The fields are “E-mail address/Sign-in ID” field and the “Password”.

If you used your email address to create your Nintendo account, you will use the email and password to sign in.

Provide your email address and password in the fields, and click on “Sign in” to sign in.

Alternatively, if you’ve used Facebook, Google, Twitter, or Apple to create your Nintendo account, you will use the same process to sign in.

Step 4. Edit your email address

After signing in to your Nintendo account, it will take you to your user info.

It will show your profile information on your user info.

The information will be your nickname, date of birth, gender, and more.

In the “E-mail address” section, it will also display your email address.

You’ll see an “Edit” button available beside the “E-mail address” header.

To edit your Nintendo email address, you have to click on “Edit”.

Step 5. Click on “Submit”

After clicking on “Edit”, it will take you to the “E-mail address verification” page.

The page will tell you that you need to verify your e-mail address to continue.

It will also show your current email that is linked to your Nintendo account.

To verify your old email, you need to click on “Submit”.

Step 6. Verify your old email

After clicking on “Submit”, it will show you a “Verification code” field.

It says that a verification code has been sent to your old email address.

For the verification code, you need to check your old email and copy the code.

You will receive the code in less than 5 minutes.

If you do not receive it, you should check your junk and spam mail as it might have gone there.

On the other hand, you can also resent the code by clicking on the “Resend verification code” link.

After copying the verification code, paste it in the “Verification code” field.

After that, click on “Submit” in order to verify your old email address.

Step 7. Enter the new email address

After verifying your old email address, it will give you a “New e-mail address” field.

Now, you will provide the new email address that you want to use for your account.

In the “New e-mail address” field, you will enter the new email address that you wish to switch to.

It is my recommendation that you should choose an email service that can be used from a PC or a web browser.

After entering the new email address, you need to click on “Submit” to confirm it.

Step 8. Verify your new email address

After entering the new email address, the next step you need to perform is to verify it.

You will receive a verification code to your new email address.

For the verification code, you need to check your new email address and copy the code.

After that, in the “Verification code” field, paste it.

If you have not received the code to verify it for 5 minutes, you need to click on the “Resend verification code” link available below the “Submit” button.

After pasting the verification code, the next thing is to click on “Submit” to verify your new email address.

You have successfully verified your old as well as new email address, your email address on Nintendo will be changed too!

Final Words

As you have read in this article you need to verify your email addresses to change them.

First of all, you have to verify your old email address in order to prove that you are the owner.

After that, you need to verify your new email address to prove that too.

The system will send a verification code to your old and new email addresses respectively.

If you didn’t receive it, go to your junk and spam mail to check it.

To resend the verification code, you can use the “Resend verification code” button.

How to Fix “Waiting on another update” on Battle.net

Last Updated on August 1, 2023 By Arsalan Rauf

Are you facing a “Waiting on another update” error on Battlenet?

You will receive the error when there’s a new update for a Battle.net game.

You can also get it if you are trying to update games including Overwatch 2, Hearthstone, Diablo, and others.

I have faced this problem myself and managed to fix it after spending several hours on it.

Before I was able to fix it, the methods I use include deleting and reinstalling battle.net and connecting to a VPN but it was of no use.

In this guide, I will tell you how to fix the “Waiting on another update” error on the Battle.net launcher by Blizzard.

How to fix “Waiting on another update” on Battle.net

To fix “Waiting on another update” on Battle.net, the best method is to change your region (for instance, from Asia to the Americas).

Additionally, you can also try disabling “Limit download bandwidth”, reboot your network, or disabling all non-Microsoft services.

Method 1: Change your region

  1. Go to Battle.net and choose the game that cannot update (for instance, Overwatch 2).
  2. Now, click on the globe icon.
  3. Change the location to a different region, use America instead of Asia.
  4. Pause the update and begin it again.
  5. Reupdate the game.

Tip: If the game is still not getting updated, keep switching regions, pausing, and starting the update until it starts.

Editor’s note: I fixed the slow update problem using this method after hours of trying and troubleshooting.

When I moved to another region, the battle.net game went from 0% to 100% in a minute.

After updating the game, you can return to your original region.

Solution 2: Restart the Battle.net desktop app

  1. Press CTRL + ALT + DEL to select the Task Manager.
  2. Select “Battle.net” from the list and click on “End Task”.
  3. Choose “Battle.net Update Agent” and click on “End Task”.
  4. End the task for any Battle.net game that’s running in the background.
  5. Open the Battle.net desktop app again and try updating the game again.

Solution 3: Disable “Limit download bandwidth”

  1. Go to Battle.net and click on the Battle.net logo.
  2. Choose “Settings” from the dropdown menu.
  3. Choose “Downloads” and turn off “Limit download bandwidth”.
  4. Update the game after clicking on “Done”.

Editor’s note: Your download speed will be increased by disabling the “Limit download bandwidth” setting.

Solution 4: Reset your network

  1. Use Windows Search to search for “Command Prompt”.
  2. Right-click on it to run the Command Prompt as an administrator.
  3. Type “netsh int ip reset c:\resetlog.txt” and hit Enter.
  4. Type “netsh winsock reset” and hit Enter.
  5. Type “ipconfig /flushdns” and hit Enter.
  6. Reboot your PC, go to Battle.net, and update the game.

Solution 5: Disable all non-Microsoft services

  1. Go to Windows Search, and search for “msconfig”, and open it.
  2. After that, click on the “Services” tab.
  3. Select “Hide all Microsoft services”.
  4. Follow these steps: Disable all > Apply > OK.
  5. Restart your computer or laptop, open Battle.net, and update the game.

How to Fix “This build of Vanguard requires TPM 2.0” in Valorant

Last Updated on July 18, 2023 By Arsalan Rauf

Valorant is a 5v5 tactical shooter that helps the players to explore the styles and skills on this platform.

To play the game, you should be instant when it comes to decision making and shooting abilities.

You can take part in different game modes such as Competitive, Unranked, Deathmatch, and Spike Rush.

In July, many users are not able to launch the game due to a Virtualization-based security (VBS) update.

The update does not allow the system to use it that did not enable UEFI and TPM 2.0 from launching Valorant.

In this article, I will tell you how to fix “This build of Vanguard requires TPM 2.0 and secure boot” in Valorant.

Why does Vanguard require TPM 2.0?

TPM 2.0 is one of the requirements you have to meet in order to run Valorant on your machine.

You are getting this error because you have not updated your BIOS mode to UEFI and enabled TPM 2.0.

UEFI gives enhanced security features while TPM 2.0 has security for cryptographic operations.

If your system is not supporting those features, the best bet is to disable virtualization-based security (VBS) for this.

How to Fix “This build of Vanguard requires TPM 2.0” in Valorant

To fix the “This build of Vanguard requires TPM 2.0” error in Valorant, the first solution is to enable UEFI and TPM 2.0.

If your system is not supporting those features, the only way is to disable virtualization-based security (VBS) for this.

Solution 1: Enable UEFI and TPM 2.0

  1. Restart your computer and press the BIOS key (for instance, F2 or DEL).
  2. Follow these steps: Boot > Boot Mode > UEFI.
  3. Security > Set Supervisor Password > Enter New Password (for example, 456).
  4. Security > Change TPM (TCM) State > Enabled.
  5. Exit > Exit Saving Changes > Yes.

#1 Tip: The BIOS key is unique for every system—to find the correct key, you need to perform a search for “BIOS key for x” on Google (for instance, BIOS key for HP laptop).

#2 Tip: Use the Windows search to search for “msinfo32” and find out if your system supports UEFI, opening it, and checking if the BIOS Mode is UEFI.

#3 Tip: Use the Windows search to search for “tpm.msc” to find out if your system supports TPM 2.0, open it, and check if the status is “The TPM is ready for use”.

#4 Tip: If the BIOS Mode is not UEFI and your system does not support TPM 2.0, move on to the next method and skip this one.

Solution 2: Disable VBS

  1. Search for “CMD” by using windows search.
  2. Right-click the command prompt to select “Run as administrator”.
  3. Type “bcdedit /set hypervisorlaunchtype off” there and hit enter.
  4. Reboot your PC or laptop, use Windows Search, and search for “Core Isolation”.
  5. Turn off “Memory Integrity” and reboot your PC.

Note: You can use the Windows search by searching for “msinfo32” to find out if VBS is disabled, opening it, and finding “Virtualization-based security”.

Solution 3: Enable Secure Boot

  1. Restart your laptop and press the BIOS key (use the keys: F2 or DEL).
  2. For Alienware, Inspiron, and Vostro, use these steps: visit Secure Boot > change Secure Boot to Enabled > press F10 to save and exit.
  3. For OptiPlex, Precision, Wyse, and XPS, use these steps: visit Secure Boot > Secure Boot Enable > Check Secure Boot Enable > Apply > Exit > Save

Note: You can use the Windows search by searching for “msinfo32” to find out if Secure Boot is enabled, opening it, and checking if “Secure Boot State” is “On”.

In July, many users are not able to launch the game due to a Virtualization-based security (VBS) update.

The update does not allow system to use it that did not enable UEFI and TPM 2.0 from launching Valorant.

In this article, I will tell you how to fix “This build of Vanguard is out of compliance with current system settings” in Valorant.

Why does Valorant say this build of Vanguard is out of compliance?

Valorant says this build of Vanguard is out of compliance because you have not updated your BIOS mode to UEFI and enabled TPM 2.0.

Enabling both of those features is necessary to run Valorant on your computer.

UEFI gives enhanced security features while TPM 2.0 has security for cryptographic operations.

If your system is not supporting those features, the best bet is to disable virtualization-based security (VBS) for this.

How to fix “This build of Vanguard is out of compliance” in Valorant

To fix the “This build of Vanguard is out of compliance” error in Valorant, the first solution is to enable UEFI and TPM 2.0.

  5. Turn off “Memory Integrity” and reboot your laptop.

  3. For OptiPlex, Precision, Wyse, and XPS, use these steps: visit Secure Boot > Secure Boot Enable > Check Secure Boot Enable > Apply > Exit > Save.

Note: You can use the Windows search by searching for “msinfo32” to find out if Secure Boot is enabled, opening it, and checking if “Secure Boot State” is “On”.
