These functionalities have player-made homes, per-world warps, server-wide and kits, teleportation, private messaging and nicknames (custom).

In addition, it has moderation tools such as temporary bans, mutes, kicks, and jails.

EssentialsX is also equipped with built-in economic features including command costs, sign shops, and full support for Vault.

Essentials X also contains optional modules which come with new integrated options including world protection and chat formatting.

In this post, I will tell you how to download and set up Essentials Chat for Spigot, Bukkit, or Paper in your Minecraft server.

How to download Essentials Chat

To download Essentials Chat, you have to visit the EssentialsX website and download it as an add-on.

After downloading it as an add-on, drag and drop the file into the plugin folder of your server.

After that, edit the Essentials config.yml file and customize group and chat formats which is not compulsory (optional).

Step 1. Download Essentials Chat and other plugins

You have to install these important plugins: EssentialsX, Vault, LuckPerms.
After installing these plugins, visit this link: https://essentialsx.net/downloads.html.
Scroll down and click on the “Download” button available beside “EssentialsX Chat”.
Go to your server’s FTP files and visit the “Plugins” folder.
Add the “EssentialsX Chat” plugin into the folder by uploading it.
To make it work, restart your server!

With EssentialsChat, the color codes and formats can be used for chatting such as &1, &2, &l, &n.

Step 2. Edit the Essentials config.yml file (optional)

Go to your server’s FTP files and access them and go to the “Plugins” folder.
Access the “Essentials” folder.
Open the “config.yml” file.
Scroll down until you find the “EssentialsX Chat” section.
This section can help you to customize chat and group formats by deleting the hashtag.
To update the config files of the plugin, reboot your server.

What causes an invalid session in Minecraft?

Invalid session in Minecraft is caused by two main reasons.

The first cause is that you have begun using two instances of Minecraft and the old session ID is invalidated.

The second main cause is that you might have a cracked version of the game (for instance, TLauncher).

The cracked players cannot enter in most Minecraft servers.

How to fix “Failed to login: Invalid session (try restarting your game)” in Minecraft

To fix “Failed to login: Invalid session (try restarting your game)” in Minecraft, the best way is to close the launcher by quitting the game and open it again.

If you’re a server owner, in your server’s properties, set “online-mode” to “false”.

General solution:

In this article, I will tell you how to fix the “You are not white-listed on this server!” error on Minecraft Java or Bedrock edition.

What does whitelisted mean on Minecraft?

If you’re whitelisted on a Minecraft server, it means that you will be able to join it.

If you are not whitelisted, you will be restricted from joining the server.

A whitelist can be a list of players that are allowed to join a Minecraft server.

Players who are not allowed to join the server will be blocked to stop them from connecting.

This action is taken to avoid griefers and spam.

The most common server types that are whitelisted include SMP servers also known as survival multiplayer.

In some cases, you will not be able to get damage.

I used to own some Minecraft servers earlier and I faced the same issue.

Even though I was using the creative mode, I was not able to take any damage.

In this article, I will tell you how to fix can’t take damage (e.g., fall, mop, fire damage) in Minecraft or your server.

Why can’t you take damage on your Minecraft server?

You can’t take damage on your Minecraft server due to three main reasons.

The first reason is that you might be using the creative mode and it will stop you from getting damaged.

The second reason is that you might be using the god mode which also stops you from getting damaged.

And the last reason is that there is an issue with a plugin that you are using in your server.

How to fix can’t take damage on your Minecraft server

To fix can’t take damage on your Minecraft server, the first thing is to disable creative mode by doing “/gamemode survival”.

In addition, you also have to disable god mode by doing “/god” or “/ungod” (this is the one of the most common reasons why you’re not getting damaged).

Here are 3 solutions:

Set survival mode: To set game mode survival, do /gamemode survival.
Ungod yourself: To allow yourself to take damage, do /god or /ungod.
Remove plugin(s): Remove the plugin that’s causing the problem.

If the plugin is the reason of the issue, you have to find that plugin and get rid of it.

For example, in my server, a plugin known as “GodItems” was the culprit that was making my player invincible after utilizing the ability of the item.

To fix this, I had to remove the data of my player from World > playerdata.

You should back up your server before you remove any player data or plugin.
