How to Fix Instagram Reels Not Loading

Last Updated on July 26, 2022 By Arsalan Rauf

Are Instagram Reels not loading for you when you try to see them?

This is another common problem that many Instagram users get.

Even if your internet connection is good, you might still face this issue.

So, you have to find the right way to get Reels to start loading again.

In this post, I will tell you why is Instagram Reels not loading and how to fix it.

Why is Instagram Reels not loading?

Instagram Reels is not loading because the app of Instagram is down.

If Instagram is not down, it is happening because of a bug on the app, your internet connection is not fine, or you don’t have the latest version of the application.

Some updates add bugs to the app including the loading problem for Reels.

If so, Instagram will come up with a new update shortly to fix the existing error on the app.

If an update shows “Bug fixes and improvements”, you should update the app asap.

How to fix Instagram Reels not loading

To fix Instagram Reels not loading, you need to ensure whether Instagram is down or not.

If Instagram is up, you can try to change your network or update Instagram.

You can also uninstall and reinstall the app or wait for 2 days will fix the issue.

If everything else fails, try logging out and logging in to your account again.

Method 1. Check if Instagram is down

Before you try to fix the Instagram Reels loading problem, you need to make sure if Instagram is down.

There are two methods you can use to check if Instagram is down.

The first method is to visit DownDetector from this link: (downdetector.com/status/instagram).

After opening the website, check if it has a spike in the graph.

If there’s a spike in the graph, it definitely shows that Instagram is not up.

The second method is to go to Twitter.com and search for “Instagram down” in the search bar.

After doing so, go through the top and latest tweets to see if there are a lot of people tweeting about the issue.

If there are a lot of tweets quoting it, it means that Instagram is probably down for everyone on IG is facing it.

In this case, you can only wait for a few hours to get a fix from Instagram’s engineering team.

Method 2. Change your network

In some cases, you may face a block on your IP address from Instagram.

This can happen when you do too many actions at the same time.

In other cases, you can get it due to the poor internet connection or if it is not active.

Therefore, an Instagram Reel might take too long to load and will result in time out.

Your internet speed can be checked with the help of a tool like Speedtest by Ookla.

If your internet speed is below average (<2 Mbps), you need to upgrade it.

To fix this, you can also change your network.

If you’re on Wi-Fi, you need to start using mobile data.

If you’re on mobile data, switch to Wi-Fi instead.

After changing your network, force close the Instagram app, re-open it and see the Reels should load now.

Method 3. Update Instagram

This is a necessary step that you should always have the latest version of Instagram.

Having said that, some updates come with bugs on the app.

Some bugs will stop features from working on the app such as loading like Reels.

In this case, Instagram will provide a new update to fix them.

Visit the App Store or Google Play Store and search for the term “Instagram”.

If the update is available with bug fixes and improvements, you need to update the app as early as possible.

Method 4. Uninstall and reinstall Instagram

According to the Help Center of Instagram, uninstalling and reinstalling the app is also their recommendation for the troubleshooting method.

But before you do that, it is suggested that you check your connection and restart your device first.

The process of uninstalling and reinstalling Instagram will update it to the newest version of IG.

Additionally, the cache of the app will be removed—which can solve certain errors on the app including Reels not loading.

Method 5. Wait for 24-48 hours

Another way to deal with it is by waiting for 24-48 hours and Reels will start loading again.

Most errors on IG do not last for more than 48 hours (in rare cases, it can take some days).

The error can be the “Try Again Later” or the “Couldn’t Load Users” error.

I’ve personally faced the Instagram Reels not loading problem before.

In my case, the issue occurred on the app because I didn’t provide my age on the app.

However, Instagram did not ask me to provide my age on the app for several days.

During this span, Reels and other options on Instagram weren’t loading.

Instagram Reels started loading again after adding my age to the app when I was asked to do it.

Method 6. Log out and log in to your account

  1. Firstly, go to Instagram app.
  2. Tap on the menu icon.
  3. Now, tap on “Settings”.
  4. Lastly, scroll down and tap on “Log Out” to sign out of your account.

After logging out of your IG account, log in to your account.

After doing so, you need to check if Instagram Reels can load.

Last Updated on May 24, 2023 By Arsalan Rauf

Is your Facebook account temporarily locked and do you want to fix it?

Are you getting a “Your Account is Temporarily Locked” error when you try log in to your Facebook account?

The full error message will be, “We’ve detected suspicious activity on your Facebook account and have temporarily locked it as a security measure”.

The error message also says that your account has been phished.

In most cases, you might be getting the issue by mistake.

The worst thing is, even if you’ve followed the on-screen instructions, you might not get the security code.

You will not be able to unlock your Facebook account until you solve the error.

In this post, how to fix “Your Account is Temporarily Locked” and “We’ve detected suspicious activity” on Facebook.

Why is my Facebook account temporarily locked?

Your Facebook account is temporarily locked due to the detection of suspicious activity on your account.

You may have entered your account details or password on a website that looks like FB or on a third-party tool.

When Facebook detects suspicious activity in your account, their system locks your account as a security precaution.

In some cases, your FB account may get locked by mistake.

A lot of users have reported that their Facebook accounts were locked by mistake as they did not use password on any site or third-party tools or apps.

However, they were not able to unlock their accounts even after following the instructions on the screen as the security code was not sent.

If you’re not getting the security code, or if the instructions on the screen aren’t working, try unblocking your contacts before sending the code again.

How to Fix “Your Account is Temporarily Locked” on Facebook

To fix “Your Account is Temporarily Locked” on Facebook, your task is to submit the “Report a login issue” form.

On the other hand, you can also submit the “Security checks preventing login” and the “Confirm your identity with Facebook” form too.

These forms enable you to contact Facebook directly to recover or restore your account.

After submitting the form, Facebook will contact you via the email address that you have given.

Typically, their team responds to you in 1-5 business days.

Sometimes, you may have to wait for a longer time to get their response.

The reason for this is that Facebook gets an excessive number of reports daily, so they might take a while to respond yours.

Below are the three forms that can be used to contact Facebook for help in unlocking your account.

Solution 1. Report a login issue

  1. Visit this link: https://m.facebook.com/support/forms/flow_view?id=357439354283890.
  2. Enter the email address that is associated with your Facebook account.
  3. Write a description of the problem and provide a screenshot (optional).
  4. Select “Next” next to “Submit” to submit the form.

This form is designed for users who are unable to log in to their Facebook accounts.

Since you’re locked out of your Facebook account, this form can be used by you to contact Facebook.

You should use a working email address for this as Facebook will respond to you from it.

Next, you have to provide a description of the problem that you’re getting.

An example of a description that can be used, “Hi Facebook team, I’ve been locked out of my account by mistake. I need help to unlock it”.

After that, you can upload a screenshot of the error but it is optional.

Depending on the number of submissions, the team of Facebook might take 1 to 5 business days to reply you.

Method 2. Security checks preventing login

  • Visit this link https://m.facebook.com/support/forms/flow_view?id=179049432194862.
  • Enter the email address that is associated with your Facebook account.
  • Write a description of the problem and provide a screenshot (optional).
  • Select “Next” next to “Submit” to submit the form.

This form is designed for users who can’t log in to their Facebook accounts due to security checks.

For instance, if you’re not getting a security code to unlock your account, this form can be used to contact Facebook to get help.

Facebook will get in touch with you using the email address that you’ve provided.

After that, enter the description of your problem.

An example of a description will be, “Hi Facebook team, my account has been locked accidentally/by mistake and I’m not receiving a security code to unlock it. I need help in unlocking it”.

Wait for a few days to get Facebook’s reply.

Method 3. Confirm your identity with Facebook

  1. You have to take a close photo of your ID in a room that has enough lighting.
  2. Save the photo to your computer, laptop or mobile device.
  3. Visit this link: https://www.facebook.com/help/contact/515009838910929 and select “Get Started”.
  4. To upload your ID, you need to follow the instructions on the screen.

This form is designed for verifying your identity with FB to prove that you’re the owner of the account.

So, you can also use this form to contact FB for help in unlocking your account.

How long is Facebook temporarily locked?

The duration of a temporary Facebook lock can last 24-48 hours.

Your account will be unlocked as early as you complete the instructions on your screen.

However, if you didn’t get a security code, you need to contact Facebook to get additional help using the methods above.

Otherwise, your Facebook account may be locked permanently.

Final Words

Facebook accounts are very likely to get banned temporarily.

Especially, you can face a ban if you’re using a third-party app or tool.

However, a temporary lock on your Facebook account might happen because of a mistake.

In fact, a large number of users that are experiencing this issue didn’t actually use any tools or third-party apps.

However, the spam system falsely detected it.

Therefore, if you frequently use Facebook, the best way is to make a secondary account in case something happens to your main account.

If you’ve completed the form(s) above and you still haven’t gotten a response from Facebook after a week, repeat the process and submit them again.

However, do not spam the forms, otherwise, you will be blacklisted.

How to Fix Instagram Not Working

Last Updated on July 23, 2022 By Arsalan Rauf

Is Instagram not working for you and you want to fix it?

Instagram has been in the market for more than a decade now.

Since then, they have been updating the application.

However, you might come across or get some bugs, glitches, or error messages on the app.

They do not reply to their emails that is why you cannot reach Instagram’s support.

That is why the best bet is to try to solve the issue by yourself.

To get started, you can visit the Instagram Help Center to get answers to your questions.

In this post, I will tell you why is Instagram not working and how to fix common error messages including the action block.

Why is Instagram not working

Instagram is not working because you are action blocked or it’s down.

You will receive the majority of error messages on the Instagram app instead of the website.

The action blocks are, “Try again later”, “Couldn’t refresh feed”, and so on.

These error messages will usually be removed after some time automatically.

At times, it can take more than 48 hours for them to vanish.

Therefore, it is highly recommended that you have to be patient and abstain from using Instagram during that period.

Throughout the year, Instagram has been down multiple times.

If you face any errors on the Instagram app, the first step is to ensure if it is down.

How to fix Instagram not working

To fix Instagram not working, you have to wait for 24-48 hours or set your date and time automatically.

But before you do that, you should check whether Instagram is down.

It can be done by going to the website of DownDetector.com and go to “Instagram”.

After opening the website, the next step is to check for a huge spike.

If you come across a huge spike, Instagram is most likely down and you need to wait for it to be online again.

In addition, the status of Instagram can also be checked by following Instagram on Twitter.

If the outrage is globally, Instagram will tweet about it on Twitter.

The last way you can use is to switch from Wi-Fi to mobile data.

This option is helpful if your IP address is blocked by Instagram temporarily.

By changing your network from Wi-Fi to mobile and vice-versa, your IP address will be changed and the ban will be lifted and the error message will be gone.

Here are 4 ways to fix Instagram not working.

Method 1. Check if Instagram is down

Before you start doing anything, you should check if Instagram is down.

It is the most common reason why Instagram is not working so you need to ensure that it is not down.

When Instagram is down, you can also get “Couldn’t refresh feed” error.

In this case, you will not be able to refresh your feed even if you have a working internet connection.

To check if Instagram is down, the ideal way is to go downdetector.com and check it.

After opening the URL, search for “Instagram” and visit it.

Now, the next task is to check if there’s a spike on the graph.

If the graph displays a huge spike on it, it means that plenty of users are facing error on the platform.

In short, there is a great chance that Instagram is down.

To confirm this, use Twitter and search for the term “Instagram down” on Twitter and check the latest tweets.

If the Twitter has a lot of recent tweets on “Instagram down”, Instagram is most likely down.

Additionally, the official Twitter account of Instagram can also be checked to get updates.

The tweet will be published about it there if Instagram is down worldwide.

Instagram may take a few hours to fix the issue from their end.

Method 2. Wait for 24 to 48 hours

The second way is to be patient and wait for 24 to 48 hours.

Do not post, like or comment on the IG app during this period.

If you are facing an action block, it is an ideal choice.

The action blocks can be of several types.

The action blocks are “Try again later”, “Couldn’t refresh feed”, “Couldn’t create thread” and so on.

If there is an error message, it indicates that you are blocked due to repeated action.

For instance, if you’re unfollowing too many users very fast, you’ll be action blocked.

Instagram is doing it to stop spammers and bots on the platform.

If you are blocked from the app, you need to wait for 24 to 48 hours.

After 24-48 hours, the error message will be automatically lifted.

In some cases, it may not take more than an hour.

Method 3. Set your date and time automatically

If your date and time are incorrect, it will result in a lot of issues on the Instagram app.

The reason of this is that your date and time will not be synced.

The most common error that you’ll get with an incorrect date and time is that Instagram stories won’t load or show up.

It can be fixed by settings your date and time automatically.

Here’s a step by step guide on how to do this on an iPhone/iOS device:

  1. Firstly, go to the Settings app.
  2. Tap on “General”.
  3. Tap on “Date & Time”.
  4. Now, enable “Set Automatically”.

After enabling “Set Automatically”, your date and time will be set automatically.

Now, the next step is to force close the Instagram app.

If you’re on a new iPhone, swipe up from the bottom of the screen and swipe up the card of Instagram to close it.

In the end, re-open Instagram and the problem that you’re facing (for instance. Instagram stories not loading) should be fixed.

Method 4. Move from Wi-Fi to mobile data (and vice-versa)

The last solution that you can use is to switch from Wi-Fi to mobile data and vice-versa.

This solution will also solve the error messages including the “challenge_required” error and the “Feedback Required” error.

By moving from Wi-Fi to mobile data and vice-versa, it will change your IP address.

Therefore, if Instagram imposed a temporary block on your IP address, it will be removed.

Switching from mobile data to Wi-Fi and vice-versa can also solve other error messages that you might get on Instagram.

Here are the steps on how to do so on an iPhone/iOS device:

  1. Swipe down from the right corner of your screen.
  2. Tap on the “Wi-Fi” icon to turn on or off Wi-Fi.

If you’re using mobile data, you need to turn on the “Wi-Fi” icon and use a Wi-Fi network near you.

Alternatively, if you’re already connected to a Wi-Fi network, you need to switch to mobile data by turning off the “Wi-Fi”.

After doing so, force-close the Instagram app, re-open it and see the error message should be fixed.

Final Words

You can have patience and wait for the error messages on Instagram to be lifted on their own.

Most error messages will be automatically gone within 48 hours.

In some cases, you may have to wait for an additional hour or less.

Similarly, if Instagram is down, the best solution is to wait for the team of Instagram to fix the issue from their end.

Unfortunately, it’s very difficult for users to get in touch with Instagram support center.

The only method you can use is to purchase an ad on Facebook and contact Facebook business support.

A contact button will be shown on the page a few days after purchasing an ad.

If your Instagram account is disabled, submitting this form will help you to restore it: https://help.instagram.com/contact/437908793443074.

After submitting the form, you need to wait to get Instagram’s response.

Instagram will require a selfie of yourself holding a handwritten code and you need to send it to verify your identity.

If successful, your Instagram account will be recovered and you can start using it after logging in to it.

How to Turn Off “This Tweet might include sensitive content” on Twitter

Last Updated on May 18, 2023 By Arsalan Rauf

Did you recently see an error message that displays, “This Tweet might include sensitive content” on Twitter and do you want to fix it?

If yes, you might be wondering why you got the error.

Social media platforms such as Reddit, and Instagram, posting NSFW (Not Safe For Work) content might result in a ban.

Twitter has allowed its users to post NSFW content unlike most social media sites.

However, if you’re posting NSFW media, the ideal way is to mark them as sensitive using the safety and privacy settings.

Therefore, if you see a tweet that is marked as sensitive, it means that this user is post Not Safe for Work (NSFW) content on regular basis.

But how can you remove the error message?

In this post, I will tell you why you got the error message, how to turn on/off sensitive content on Twitter, and so on.

Why does Twitter say this Tweet might include sensitive content?

Twitter says this Tweet might include sensitive content because the media they tweet is marked by the user as it may have material that may be sensitive.

Anyone on Twitter who posts NSFW content has to mark the media they tweet as sensitive content.

Otherwise, you will be at risk of getting suspended from the platform.

On your Twitter account, you can find this safety setting in the privacy and safety settings.

It can be found by going to Settings and privacy > Privacy and safety > Safety > Mark media you tweet as containing material that may be sensitive.

If someone marks their media tweets as sensitive, there is a great chance that they are posting NSFW content on a regular basis.

Therefore, the error message is to prevent users from watching something that they don’t want to see.

Anyway, you have got the option that allows you to change that setting by turning it on/off in your privacy and safety settings.

Go to the next section to find out how.

How to turn off “This Tweet might include sensitive content” on Twitter

To turn off “This Tweet might include sensitive content” on Twitter, you need to log in to Twitter using a web browser, go to Settings and privacy, select “Privacy and safety”, select “Content you see”, and lastly, tick the box for sensitive content.

It’s necessary to note that you can only change the sensitive content setting on the web browser or web version of Twitter.

If you are on the Twitter app, you won’t be able to see the “This Tweet might include sensitive content” setting as the setting is not available there.

The usage of the Twitter app is meant on both the iPhone and Android devices.

In short, you have two options—use a mobile browser to log into Twitter or log on a desktop.

Either way, you can turn off the sensitive content message if you are using the web version of Twitter.

The sensitive content setting will be visible on the web version of Twitter and not on the app.

So, if you are using the Twitter app, close it and use the mobile browser for Twitter instead.

If you are facing the “This Tweet might include sensitive content” error on the app itself, you can choose “Change settings” and it’ll take you to the web version of Twitter.

After reaching the Twitter web, enter your phone, email, or username, and password.

After that, tap on the log in button to log in to your Twitter account.

In the next step, you’ll have to visit the “Privacy and safety” page where you can access your privacy and safety settings.

#3: Select “Privacy and safety”

There are multiple options available in the Settings including Your account, Security and account access, Privacy and safety, etc.

Your Twitter activity > Content you see.

After reaching the Privacy and safety page, the page is replete with settings and options.

Three section headings are available such as Your Twitter activity, Data sharing, and off-Twitter activity, and Learn more about privacy on Twitter.

You need to select the “Content you see” option under “Your Twitter activity”.

The “Content you see” option enables you to decide what you see on Twitter keeping in view your preferences like topics and interests.

It also contains an option where can be used to turn on or turn off sensitive content.

Good news! You’ve successfully visited your content settings!

Now, you need to turn off the sensitive content settings on Twitter.

#5: Tick the box for sensitive content

Content you see > check the box for “Display media that may contain sensitive content”.

Box is checkedIf you want to see sensitive content on Twitter.
Box is uncheckedIf you don’t want to see sensitive content on Twitter.

The last step you need to take is to turn on the sensitive content setting on Twitter so you will be able to solve the “This Tweet might include sensitive content” error message once and for all.

It can be done by checking (ticking) the box for “Display media that may contain sensitive content”.

If the box is unchecked, you cannot view sensitive media on Twitter.

Alternatively, if the box is checked, you can see sensitive media on Twitter.

Hence, you need to ensure that the box is ticked if you want to stop seeing the “This Tweet might include sensitive content” error on Twitter.

That’s it, you’ve successfully turned off sensitive media on Twitter!

You can turn the option on and off whenever you want in the “Content you see” settings on Twitter web.

Why can’t I see sensitive content on Twitter?

You can’t see sensitive content on Twitter because you have turned off the settings for “Display media that may contain sensitive content”.

People who post NSFW content on Twitter will mark their tweets as sensitive content.

If the “Display media that may contain sensitive content” option is turned on, you cannot see the media which are marked as sensitive.

How do I see sensitive content on the Twitter app?

To see sensitive content on the Twitter app, your step is to turn on the “Display media that may contain sensitive content” setting.

You can do it via the “Content you see” setting.

However, this setting can be found if you’re on the web version of Twitter.

On the other hand, if you are on the Twitter app from a mobile device, you won’t be able to find it.

Final Words

Certain content on Twitter can be NSFW, so Twitter has allowed its users to mark the media that they tweet as sensitive.

If you want to view sensitive media on Twitter, you should tick the box for “Display media that may contain sensitive content” on the “Content you see” setting.

As a result, the “This Tweet might include sensitive content” error will be removed entirely.

However, if you don’t want to see sensitive media, you should uncheck the box.

How to Find Deleted Tweets on Twitter

Last Updated on July 23, 2022 By Arsalan Rauf

To find Deleted tweets on Twitter, the best way is to go to Wayback Machine and enter the URL of the Twitter user.

After entering the URL of the Twitter user, check the dates before the tweet was removed, scroll down, and find the deleted tweet.

You can visit the old version of the website by using a tool known as the Wayback Machine.

If you know the link of a website, type it into the search bar and click on the “Browse History” button.

You can browse the archived version of the site by selecting the date range.

You need to keep in mind that if the Twitter account of that person is private or the account is new one, the Wayback Machine may not have archived their tweets.

Here is a step by step guide to find deleted tweets on Twitter:

#1: Go to Wayback Machine & Open it

The first thing you need to do is to go to Wayback Machine.

Go to Google search engine, search for the terms “Wayback Machine” and click on the first search result.

On the other hand, you can go to the tool on this URL: https://web.archive.org/.

Wayback Machine enables you to see the looks of websites in the past.

For instance, if you want to see what Twitter looked like in 2011, you can search for “Twitter.com” and click on “2011”.

It can also be used to find deleted tweets on Twitter (if the tweet was archived) by using the URL of the user.

However, the Twitter profile should not be private for the tool to work.

#2: Enter the URL/Link of the Twitter user

After opening the Wayback Machine, the next thing is to enter the URL of the Twitter user into the search bar.

For instance, if you want to see Elon Musk’s deleted tweets, you need to copy the link to Elon Musk’s Twitter profile first.

It can be done by going to his profile on Twitter, highlighting the URL, and pressing “CTRL” + “C” on your keyboard to copy it.

After copying the link of the Twitter user (for example, Elon Musk), go back to Wayback Machine and paste it into the search bar.

Here is the link of Elon Musk’s Twitter profile: https://www.twitter.com/elonmusk.

The last part of the URL is always the Twitter username of the person.

After doing so, click on “Browse History” in order to start browsing the archive of that Twitter profile.

Just remember that the Wayback Machine is ideal for famous people on Twitter.

The reason behind it is that the profile of renowned people on Twitter get crawled more often than someone who does not have too many followers.

Having said that, even if the person does not even have 1,000 followers on Twitter, their profile will still be crawled.

#3: Visit the date and time before the tweet was deleted

After clicking on “Browse History”, it will take you to the calendar.

The calendar has multiple colored dots.

Blue indicates that the web server result code the crawler got for the capture was good (2xx).

Green shows that the crawlers obtained a redirect status code (3xx).

Red indicates that the crawler saw a server error (5xx).

A bigger dot tells that there are more snapshots.

Alternatively, a smaller dot shows that there are fewer snapshots.

Now, your task is to click on the estimated date and time before the tweet was removed.

For instance, if the tweet was posted on 10 March, you need to click on the “10 March” dot.

If the tweet was posted at 12 am but was deleted at 1 pm, you need to go to a snapshot after 12 am but before 1 pm.

If you don’t remember the exact date and time that the tweet was posted or deleted, the only thing you can do is to use the trial and error method.

Try guessing when the tweet was posted before it was deleted and select the date and go for it.

#4: Scroll down and find the deleted tweet

After clicking on the estimated date and time before the tweet was removed, it will take you to the person’s Twitter profile.

After doing so, now, click on “Tweets & replies” to see all of the tweets of the person and replies.

You will not be able to see their replies but can see the tweets of the person.

In the end, you have to scroll down and find the deleted tweet.

After selecting the right date and time, you’ll be able to find the deleted tweet.

However, if you did not find the removed tweet, you should choose a different time and date.

If you are not successful, repeat the process.

I’ve managed to find one of Elon Musk’s deleted tweets that compared Trudeau to Hitler with the help of the Wayback Machine.

That tweet attracted a lot of criticism and attention from the media.

After the criticism, Elon Musk realized that the meme was a bit insensitive and removed it from his Twitter account.

Final Words

The phrase, “Once on the internet, always on the internet” is supported by the tools like the Wayback Machine.

Although you can find the deleted Tweets via the Wayback Machine, it’s not sane to cancel someone from a tweet that they posted years ago.

The process is making free speech difficult on social media sites such as Twitter everyone is worried about talking about their opinions even if they are true.

This is the reason why some people try to stay anonymous on Twitter by using a fake name.

If you want to prevent your tweets from archived, you can make your Twitter profile private by going to Settings and privacy > Privacy and safety > Audience and tagging > Protect your tweets.

How to Fix Instagram Stories Not Showing Up

Last Updated on July 22, 2022 By Arsalan Rauf

Are Instagram stories not showing up on your feed and do you want to fix it?

Your stories timeline will be completely blank if the stories of Instagram are not displayed.

You will not be able to see the stories of anyone else and only your profile picture with “+” icon will be shown to you.

Previously, there is a chance that Instagram stories were working fine, but when you open the Instagram application, you will not see them now.

It is irritating when they are not showing up and you cannot keep yourself up with the stories of people that you are following.

So why is this happening? In this post, I will tell you why are Instagram stories not showing, and how to fix them.

Why can’t I see Instagram stories?

You can’t see Instagram stories because you’ve used a sticker in one of your stories or you have changed your date and time recently.

You will not be able to see stories on IG if you changed your date and time recently.

It is happening due to an incorrect date and time on the app of Instagram, and will stop the stories from showing up.

In some cases, Instagram may be down, so you need to ensure if Instagram is down first before you try to fix the issue.

Secondly, if a music button is used by you on your story, it may result in a glitch.

The Instagram music sticker is famous for causing errors in the app.

So, if you will use the music sticker in any of your stories, the sticker will cause a glitch and as a result, the stories will not show up on your timeline.

Using other stickers in your stories on Instagram might cause other stories to not show up on your timeline too.

However, if you used other stickers, it can become the cause of the problem too.

Some Instagram stickers cause bugs to your story timeline, so if you are using them on your story might cause the stories of other people to not show up.

How to fix Instagram stories not showing up

To fix Instagram stories from not showing up, the first step is to set your date and time to automatic or delete your Instagram stories from a desktop if you used an IG sticker in your stories.

If your IG stories are not showing up, it’s either happening because of an incorrect date and time or due to a sticker glitch.

To fix these errors, the first thing is to set your date and time to automatic and remove your Instagram stories from the desktop version.

You will find many generic and ineffective solutions for this on the web.

For instance, a lot of people might guide you to uninstall and reinstall Instagram, clear the cache of the app, but none of it actually works.

But after doing a lot of research, I have found these two solutions that work the best.

There are 2 working methods to fix Instagram stories not showing up:

Method 1. Set your date and time to automatic

The first way to fix Instagram stories from not showing up is by setting your date and time to automatic.

If you’ve recently changed your date and time, the date and time may not be in sync with Instagram.

Have you recently changed the date and time on your phone? If yes, you may have not changed it back.

If the date and time are incorrect, it will stop IG stories from showing up on your timeline on Instagram.

To get stories to show up on Instagram again, the best solution is to set your date and time back to automatic.

In addition, you may have forgotten to change your date and time back to automatic.

The most common reason why IG stories are not showing up is due to an incorrect date and time.

If you want your stories to show up on your timeline again, your task is to set your date and time to automatic.

Otherwise, you will not see other people’s stories on your feed.

Here’s a step by step guide on how you can set your date and time to automatic on an iPhone:

  1. Firstly, visit your phone’s settings.
  2. Tap on “General”.
  3. Tap on “Date & Time”.
  4. Now, turn on the switch for, “Set Automatically” to set your date and time automatically.
  5. After doing that, force close Instagram’s app in your background.
  6. Now, go to Instagram, and stories should be back on your timeline.

Here’s a step by step guide on how you can set your date and time to automatic on an Android device:

  1. Firstly, visit your phone’s settings.
  2. Tap on “Date & Time”.
  3. Tap on “Automatic” to set your date and time automatically.
  4. Now, force close the Instagram’s app in your background.
  5. Lastly, go to Instagram, and stories should be back on your timeline.

After setting your date and time settings to automatic, stories should return on your timeline.

After setting your date and time settings to automatic, don’t forget to force close the app before you open it again.

But when you set your date and time to automatic, you must force close the Instagram app before you open it again.

Otherwise, your stories won’t show up on Instagram.

If you want to force close Instagram on an iPhone X or later, swipe up and pause, find Instagram, after that swipe up to close it.

To force close Instagram on an older iPhone, double-tap on your home button, locate Instagram, then swipe up to close it.

Alternatively, if you’re using an Android, go to your settings, tap on “Application manager”, tap on Instagram, then tap on “Force stop”.

As a result, it will re-sync the date and time on your android with Instagram.

Method 2. Delete your Instagram stories from a desktop

The second method to fix Instagram stories from not showing up is to use the desktop version to delete all your Instagram stories.

If you used to use a music sticker or any other sticker in one of your stories, removing it from a desktop will cause stories to show on your feed again.

If you have used a music sticker or any other sticker in one of your stories, it may cause a glitch and IG stories will not be shown.

To fix it, your task is to delete your Instagram stories from a desktop via Instagram Web.

Here’s a step by step guide on how you can delete your Instagram stories from a desktop:

  1. Firstly, visit Instagram on your desktop.
  2. Sign in to your account.
  3. Go to your profile.
  4. Tap on your story on your profile picture.
  5. Now, tap on the “triple-dots” icon at the top-right corner.
  6. Select “Delete” to delete your Instagram story.
  7. Now, repeat the process on all of your stories to delete them all.

Instagram stickers (especially the music sticker) are known to cause problems on Instagram.

If you used a music sticker on one of your stories, it may prevent the stories of other people from showing up on your timeline.

Therefore, deleting your stories from IG via Instagram web using a desktop will fix stories from not showing up.

Similarly, as per the first solution, make sure to force close the Instagram app and then open it again.

Otherwise, stories may unable to show up.

How to prevent Instagram stories from not showing up

Now that you have fixed the error, you need to take some measures to prevent the error from happening again.

Whenever you get an error on Instagram, it can be really hard to fix it.

Instagram support is unreachable, so the best way is to prevent these errors from happening again.

The main reason is that Instagram support is unreachable.

If you ever tried to contact them before from the app, you should know that you will not get a reply from them.

Therefore, you should always prevent errors before they can occur again on Instagram.

Here are a couple of ways that you can use to prevent it from happening again.

Measure 1. Don’t change your date and time

The first measure you need to take is to not change the date and time from your phone’s settings.

When you change your date and time from your phone, it can cause errors in some apps.

An incorrect date and time may result in issues on the Instagram app.

Whenever you change your date and time, set it back to automatic.

The main cause of certain issues in some apps is an incorrect date and time.

On Instagram, changing your date and time will prevent stories from showing on the timeline.

The reason for this issue is that Instagram is not synced with your date and time.

In order to avoid Instagram stories from not showing up, you have to ensure that your date and time settings are set to automatic.

In any case, if you have changed your date and time due to some reason, don’t forget to change it back to automatic.

Measure 2. Try not to use Instagram stickers

The second thing you should do is to do not use Instagram stickers in your stories.

Certain Instagram stickers might cause problems on the app.

In order to avoid stories from not showing up on your feed, try not to use Instagram stickers while posting a new story.

Some Instagram stickers might result in glitches in the app.

For example, if you are using a music sticker in one of your stories might prevent other people’s stories from showing up.

To avoid this, the best measure is to try not to use any stickers whenever you’re posting a story.

Final Words

In this post, you’ve successfully learned how to fix Instagram stories from not showing up.

To recap, here are a couple of ways you can use to fix it:

  1. Set your date and time to automatic.
  2. Delete your Instagram stories via desktop version.

The two main reasons for the issue are an incorrect date and time, and an Instagram sticker.

Setting your date and time to automatic and removing stories that have a music sticker will resolve it.

How to Fix “Couldn’t upload video. The video was saved to your drafts.” on TikTok

Last Updated on April 23, 2023 By Arsalan Rauf

Are you getting a “Couldn’t upload video” error on TikTok and want to know how to fix it?

The full error message is, “Couldn’t upload video. The video was saved to your drafts”.

You cannot upload videos on TikTok due to this error.

The error message can occur unexpectedly—which may confuse you.

The reason behind it is that you might be able to upload a video a few days ago, but now, you are not able to upload it.

If you use TikTok to promote your products or services, suddenly, you are unable to upload videos to the app will cause a loss.

In this post, I will tell you why you got the “Couldn’t upload video. The video was saved to your drafts.” error on TikTok and how to fix it.

Why does my TikTok keep saying couldn’t upload video?

TikTok keeps saying “Couldn’t upload video” because TikTok has blocked you temporarily from posting.

If you violated one or more of the community guidelines of TikTok, your posting will be blocked from the app temporarily.

The duration of the block varies from user to user.

In most cases, the restrictions are implemented for no more than a few days.

Therefore, your only way is to wait until the block is lifted before you can start uploading a video on TikTok again.

You will get the date in your account updates saying when you will be unblocked.

You can go to your account updates by following these steps: tap on Inbox > All activity > From TikTok > Account updates.

TikTok will only notify you once, so there is a great chance that you will miss it.

That is the reason why many users have no idea why they can’t upload videos.

How to fix “Couldn’t upload video. The video was saved to your drafts.” on TikTok

To fix “Couldn’t upload video. The video was saved to your drafts.” on TikTok, the best way is to wait it out.

The error occurs when you’re temporarily restricted from uploading videos on TikTok.

The reason for this block is that you’ve violated one or more of TikTok’s community guidelines.

You will get the date in your account updates saying when you will be unblocked.

To see your account updates, you need to tap on Inbox > All activity > From TikTok > Account updates.

After opening your account updates, scroll down until you find the system notification that says that you’re blocked from posting.

The notification will also show the date when you will be unblocked from posting.

Here’s a step by step guide on how to fix “Couldn’t upload video. The video was saved to your drafts.” on TikTok:

Step 1. Visit your inbox and tap on “All activity”

The first thing you need to do is to go to your inbox on TikTok.

To get started, go to TikTok and log in to your account if you are not log in yet.

After opening the TikTok app, tap on “Inbox” on the bottom bar to visit your inbox.

In your inbox, all the notifications are available there.

Now, the next thing is to filter your notifications to the ones you got from TikTok only.

To begin with, tap on “All activity” on the top bar.

Step 2. Tap on “From TikTok”

After tapping on “All activity”, a list of categories will be shown to you.

The categories are “Likes”, “Comments”, “Q&A”, and so on.

At the bottom of the list, “From TikTok” category will be available.

You need to tap on “From TikTok” to filter the notification from TikTok only.

Step 3. Tap on “Account updates”

After tapping on “From TikTok”, you’ll get a list of notifications that you have from TikTok only.

The notifications are related to the “Account updates”.

The “Accounts updates” notification will show updates related to your TikTok account.

It also has notifications on your account’s status.

To view your account updates, tap on “Account updates”.

Step 4. Wait until the date that is stated

After tapping on “Account updates”, it will show you your account updates.

The updates are system notifications, personalized ads settings change, log-in attempts, and so on.

Now, the next thing is to find the system notification that says that you’re blocked from posting.

Here’s an example of a system notification from TikTok, “Due to multiple violations of our Community Guidelines, you’re temporarily blocked from posting until 2022-12-24 0:5:30:44”.

The notification gives the date and time that you’ll be unblocked from posting on TikTok.

Therefore, you need to wait until the block is lifted and you can begin uploading videos on TikTok again.

In most cases, the block will be imposed for a few days.

Unfortunately, there is no way to bypass the “Couldn’t upload video” error unless the system has blocked you accidentally or by mistake.

If you’re blocked by mistake, you can uplift it by contacting TikTok for help.

Final Words

In some cases, you might encounter the “Couldn’t upload video. The video was saved to your drafts.” error on TikTok by mistake.

In this case, the best way is to contact TikTok support.

To begin with, visit the TikTok feedback form and describe your issue that you were blocked by mistake.

An example of a description that you can write, “Hi TikTok team, my account is blocked from posting by mistake. There was no violation of any community guidelines by me. Please review my video and lift the block”.

Before you provide these details, first of all, you need to enter your email address, TikTok username, and select a topic.

To prevent yourself from getting blocked on TikTok from posting in the future, the best way is to not post videos that violate TikTok’s community guidelines.

The guidelines are dangerous acts, violent content, and more.

You can also report a problem on the app by visiting your profile > Menu > Report a problem.

How to Get Unbanned on TikTok Live

Last Updated on July 20, 2022 By Arsalan Rauf

You can go live on the app of TikTok if you are aged 16 and above.

However, the guidelines are very strict, if you violate any of them, you will get banned from the app.

At the same time, TikTok is also famous for banning users without any reason.

A lot of users are banned from TikTok live even though they did not violate any of TikTok’s community guidelines.

If you’re a creator, and you are banned from TikTok live, it will be frustrating especially if you go live frequently.

The reason behind it is that you won’t be able to receive gifts.

In this post, I will tell you how to get unbanned on TikTok live, whether you can get unbanned, and how long does an appeal takes.

How to get unbanned on TikTok live

To get unbanned on TikTok live, you can send an email to TikTok or use the “Share your feedback” form, or report a problem from the app.

On the other hand, if your ban is a temporary one, you need to wait for it to be lifted from your account.

There are two types of bans you can face on TikTok live including a temporary ban and a permanent ban.

If your ban is a temporary one, you will be informed from TikTok that how long it will last.

For instance, if you’re banned from going live on TikTok for 8 days, you’ll see a “Livestream restrictions” tab that says “8d”.

In this case, you need to wait for 8 days in order to go live on TikTok again.

However, if the “Livestream restrictions” tab shows “Permanently banned from livestreaming”, it means that you cannot go live on TikTok unless you get unbanned by submitting an appeal.

There are 3 ways that you can use to submit an appeal and get unbanned on TikTok live.

#1: Email TikTok

You can send your unban appeal to legal@tiktok.com or info@tiktok.com.

The first way you can use to get unbanned on TikTok live is to email TikTok.

TikTok contains two official email addresses that you can use.

The first email that can be used for mail is legal@tiktok.com, which is for legal issues.

The second email that can be used for mail is info@tiktok.com, which is for anything related to the TikTok app.

The appeal can be submitted to both of these email addresses.

First of all, send a new mail and add one or both email addresses there.

On the subject, you need to provide that you’ve been banned on TikTok live by mistake (for instance, I was banned from TikTok live by mistake).

After that, on the description, tell them that your account was banned accidentally or for whatever reason and that you didn’t violate any of their community guidelines.

For instance, if you were incorrectly banned for being underage, explain them in the email that you are not underage and you’re above 16 years old.

After completing the description, send the email and wait to get TikTok’s response.

You might take response from them in a few days, weeks, or even months because of the large number of appeals submit to TikTok every day.

#2: Use the “Share your feedback” form

Submit an appeal on this link: https://www.tiktok.com/legal/report/feedback.

The second way to get unbanned from TikTok live is by using the “Share your feedback” form and submit an appeal.

The “Share your feedback” form enables you to share your experience on the platform.

The feedback form can also be used to report a problem that you’re getting on the app including being banned on TikTok live by mistake.

Firstly, go to the “Share your feedback” form from the URL.

After that, enter the email address that is linked with your TikTok account.

The next step is to enter your TikTok username.

Under the “What would you like to tell us?” field, tell them that you were banned from TikTok live by mistake and that you didn’t violate the community guidelines of TikTok.

An attachment can also be uploaded under “Attachments”.

If you’ve pre-recorded your live video on TikTok, you can attach it as proof.

Lastly, tap on “Submit” and your appeal will be submitted to TikTok and wait for their response.

#3: Report a problem on the TikTok app

The third way to get unbanned on TikTok live is to report a problem on the app.

TikTok enables its users to report a problem directly from the app:

  1. Firstly, you need to go to your TikTok profile and tap on the three dots.
  2. Scroll down and tap on “Report a problem”.
  3. Now, scroll down and tap on “Live/Payment/Rewards”.
  4. Tap on “Hosting Live”.
  5. After that, select “Live is suspended”.
  6. Tap on “No”, then tap on “Still have problem”.
  7. Now, describe to them that you were banned by mistake and you didn’t violate any of the community guidelines.
  8. Lastly, tap on “Report” to submit the report.

After submitting the report, it will be available on your support tickets.

Go back until you reach the “Feedback and help” page.

After that, tap on the editing icon available on the top-right of your screen to see the status of the support tickets.

Due to the burden of reports on TikTok team, you might have to wait for a few days or even for weeks to receive their response.

Can you get unbanned from TikTok live?

Yes, you can get unbanned from TikTok live by using the above methods.

According to FinalHarps on YouTube, there are many creators of TikTok who were able to unban from TikTok live after sending an email to TikTok.

The email addresses that creators have used are legal@tiktok.com and info@tiktok.com.

Alternatively, if you’re just temporarily banned on TikTok live, the ban will be lifted, you just need to wait for it.

How long does a TikTok live appeal take?

A TikTok live appeal can take several days to weeks to get a response.

TikTok gets an excessive number of reports on a daily basis, so it is recommended to have patience and wait for a long time to receive their reply.

When you get a response from TikTok, they might ask a photo of your ID.

The process is to prove that you’re of age (16 and above).

After giving them proof, TikTok will unban you from going live.

Final Words

In this guide, I have added 3 different methods to get unbanned on TikTok live.

After sending an appeal, you have to be prepared to wait for a long time to receive TikTok’s response.

When you will receive a response from TikTok, they’ll request a photo of your ID.

After sending your ID, TikTok will review it, and after reviewing it if you are not underage, you’ll be unbanned from TikTok live.

How to Fix “No Internet Connection” on Instagram

Last Updated on July 18, 2022 By Arsalan Rauf

Are you getting a “No Internet Connection” error on Instagram and looking for a way to fix it?

If yes, the features will not load or work on the app.

If you visit your feed or profile, you will not be able to refresh it.

It will also restrict you from following/unfollowing people, commenting, or liking any posts.

In most cases, your internet connection works fine but you still see the error.

In this post, I will tell you why Instagram says “No Internet Connection” and how to fix it.

Why does Instagram say “No Internet Connection”?

Instagram says “No Internet Connection” because the app is not connected to the internet.

You can get this issue if your internet speed is too slow/not working or when Instagram is down.

If the speed of your internet is too slow, your internet will not be able to connect to Instagram.

The reason is that when the connection takes too long to connect, as a result, it times out.

In some cases, Instagram might be down for every user and you are not alone.

In this case, Instagram will show you that you don’t have an internet connection even though your internet is fine.

How to fix “No Internet Connection” on Instagram

To fix “No Internet Connection” on Instagram, the first thing you need to do is to check if Instagram is down.

If Instagram is down, the best way is to wait for a few hours so it will be back up.

If IG isn’t down, you can update IG app or try switching your network, or wait for 24-48 hours.

There is another way you can try which is also recommended by the Help center of Instagram that is, uninstall and reinstall the app.

Method 1. Check if Instagram is down

First of all, you should check if Instagram is down.

There are a couple of ways you can use to find out if Instagram is down.

The first method is to visit this site downdetector.com and search for “Instagram”.

After opening it, check if you see a spike in the number of reports.

If there is a spike, it probably indicates that the app is down for everyone.

In this case, your best bet is to wait for a few hours for the servers to be back up.

You can also monitor the graph and see if the spike has decreased with time.

You can use another method to see if Instagram is down by searching for “Instagram down” on Twitter or the exact issue that you’re getting.

After searching for it, the next step is to check the top and latest tweets to see if there are people complaining about it.

Method 2. Change your network

The second method to fix the “No Internet Connection” error on Instagram is to change your network.

It is happening because the internet speed of your connection is very weak.

Your internet speed can be checked on speedtest.net.

If your internet speed is a lot lower than 2 Mbps, it indicates that you have a slow internet connection.

In this case, you’ll face the “No Internet Connection” error because it takes too long to connect.

To fix this, the best way to deal with it is by changing your network from Wi-Fi to mobile data and vice-versa.

You can also choose an alternative Wi-Fi network for connecting.

After changing your network, force close the Instagram app, reopen it, and check if the error still persists.

Method 3. Update Instagram to the latest version

The next way is to update Instagram to the newest version.

To begin with, open the App Store or Google Play Store, search for the term “Instagram”, and tap on “Update” to update it.

Some Instagram updates have bug fixes that will fix the existing errors on the app.

Therefore, you need to ensure that you always have the newest version of IG.

If you already using the latest version of Instagram, the next step is to wait for another update.

Instead of updating the IG application, you can also try uninstalling and reinstalling it.

The cache on Instagram will be removed and the app will be updated to the latest version.

Method 4. Wait for 24 to 48 hours

If everything fails, the last method is to wait for 24-48 hours for the “No Internet Connection” error to disappear.

Instagram errors will eventually go away on their own after some time.

For instance, if you are unable to follow or unfollow people on Instagram, you’ll be able to do it again after waiting for the given time.

If you’re facing the “No Internet Connection” even though your internet connection is fine, it indicates that the problem is not with your internet.

Instead, the servers of Instagram are down and you cannot do anything to fix it except wait for them to be up again.

Why does Instagram say “We’re sorry but something went wrong”?

Instagram says “We’re sorry, but something went wrong” when Instagram is down.

If Instagram is up, it may occur because your IP address is temporarily blocked.

Your IP address will be temporarily blocked if you perform too many actions at one time on IG.

An example of carrying actions too many times is following or unfollowing too many people.

A username of @harrysflat published a tweet that they kept seeing the error when they open the app.

There are some other users who were also complaining about the issue on Twitter.

Certain features on the app will not load or work due to this issue.

For instance, your Instagram feed might not load any posts on the app.

There are a few methods to ensure if Instagram is down.

The first method is to visit this link downdetector.com/status/instagram.

After opening that link, check if there’s a spike in the graph.

If you see a spike, Instagram is most likely down for every user and not just you.

In this case, you need to wait until the servers start working properly (this will usually take a few hours).

There is another method you can use is to search for the “Instagram down” on Twitter or the issue that you’re getting.

Go through the top and latest tweets and see if anyone is tweeting about the issue you are getting.

The issue will be on a global level if there are a lot of tweets saying that Instagram is not up.

Method 2. Switch your network

The second way is to change your network.

In some cases, you got the “Something went wrong” error because they have blocked your IP address temporarily.

You can face it when you’ve carried out an action repeatedly on the app.

However, the system can also block your IP address mistakenly.

To fix the error, you need to change your network from mobile data to Wi-Fi and vice-versa.

You can also use another Wi-Fi to connect it.

After changing your network, force close the Instagram app, reopen it, and check the error should be fixed.

Method 3. Update Instagram

Instagram frequently sends new updates to get rid of bugs and improve the app’s performance.

If there is an existing bug on the app, you will receive a new update from Instagram to fix it.

If you are not using the updated version of Instagram, go to the App Store or Google Play Store and update it.

After updating Instagram to the newest version, open it and check the error should be gone.

Instead of updating the IG application, you can also try uninstalling and reinstalling it.

The app’s cache will be cleared with this process and Instagram will be updated to the latest version.

Certain errors on the app get fixed by clearing Instagram’s cache.

Method 4. Wait for 24 to 48 hours

The last way to deal with it is by waiting for 24 to 48 hours.

Most of the errors on IG will be fixed after 24 to 48 hours.

The errors can be “Try again later” and “Couldn’t create thread” errors.

I saw a user on Reddit who said that the error message disappeared after a day.

If Instagram is not up, the app will usually be back up after a few hours.

You can check the graph of IG by going to DownDetector.

If there is no increase in spikes there, it means that the app is functioning properly.

However, if the spike on the site is still high, the error message will remain present.
