Here are the steps in this guide on how to report a problem on the Instagram app.
1. Visit your profile and tap on the menu icon on the top right-hand corner of your screen.

General Feedback: Use it if you want to give feedback about the app (ideas, suggestions and reviews).
Image or video quality issue: Is there an Image or video quality issue? Go for this category if you do.
Trademark Report Form
Trademark Report Form – If an Instagram username infringes on your trademark, you can use the trademark form to report it.
Apart from that, the form can also be used to report other issues including hacking, impersonation and bullying.

Privacy Violation Form
Privacy Violation Form – This contact form is designed for people to report privacy violations, for instance, Your image.
If someone is violating your privacy such as sharing your intimate photos or videos, you can use this form.
At the beginning of the form, the first thing you need to tell them that the content that you’re reporting is a photo or a video.
After that, the next step is to provide a link to the content and choose whether a minor or yourself appears in the content that you are reporting.
After that, you will get two options including yes or no, it is a question to tell them whether you live in the United States. If you’re an adult and a resident of the United States, Instagram cannot delete the content for you.
After that, you must choose whether you are above 18 or under 18. If you are less than 18 years old and out of USA, the last details you’ll have to provide is your email address and details of how the content violates your privacy.
Impersonation Form
Impersonation Form – To report an impersonation on the platform.
You can use this form if someone else is pretending to be you or someone else.

Report Underage Form
Report Underage Form – To report an underage on Instagram, you can use it.
To report someone on Instagram who is under the age of 13 or someone that is pretending to be your child, you can use this form.
This form will take the username of that profile that you want to report, the entire name of the person that is available on their account, the date of birth and your relation with the user.
You will not be notified the consequence of the report, but if the account is deleted, it will not be available on Instagram.
Abuse & Spam Form
Abuse & Spam Form – To report content that violates the community guidelines of Instagram.
You can use this contact form if you think that content is inappropriate and violates Instagram’s Community Guidelines to report it.
However, if you are using an Instagram account, the app can be used to report this type of content.
This is only for those who do not have an account on Instagram.
After selecting no, you need to tell where the violation happened such as a photo, comment or video, how it violates the community guidelines of Instagram, your username, your email address and the full name of the user that you are reporting and a link to the violation.
Memorialized Form
Memorialized Form – To request to memorialize a departed person’s Instagram.
This form can be used in order to memorialize the account of a family member or a friend.
When an account is memorialized, it will show a ‘remembering’ title above the name of the person on their profile and their posts will be hidden the explore page.
