What is the blue search comment on TikTok?
The blue search comment on TikTok is a feature that can help you to link searches with your comment.
Linked comments will be shown in blue with a search icon and you can choose it as it is highlighted.
When you select a blue search comment, it will take you to the search results for that term.
For instance, if you’ve used “Dance”, it will take you to the “Dance” search results.
The aim of TikTok is to become a competitor of Google search.
However, every comment section does not have blue search comments.
The reason behind it is that every comment is not relevant to the video.
If the comment is related to the video, it will be algorithmically turned into a blue search comment.
How to do the blue search comment on TikTok
To do the blue comment on TikTok, the first part is to find the keyword(s) of the video (for instance, Schumacher).
After finding the keyword(s) of the video, the next part is to use them in your comment such as Schumacher or Latifi.
After that, the algorithm of TikTok will transform your comment into a blue search comment if it’s related to the video.
Note: it is not possible to do the search comments all by yourself as it is decided algorithmically.
Here are the steps on how to link searches in the comments:
- Locate the keyword of the video from the captions, video itself, hashtags, and comment section.
- You need to include the keyword(s) of the video in your comment.
With this method, it is more likely to make your comment into blue search comment.
However, it does not work 100% of the time as it depends on algorithm.
The process is dependent on an algorithm which comments to link and not to link.
Having said that, here are some tricks that can be used to get the blue search comment almost all the time:
- Go to the comment section and find existing blue search comments.
- Copy the blue keyword(s) and add them in your comment.
- For instance, if there’s an existing blue search comment in the comment section like “Arsalan Rauf”, using it in your comment will make it a blue search comment almost all the time.
Editor’s note: After using the method 4-5 times, I was able to turn all of my comments into blue search comments.
The best way is to use the popular videos on the “For You” page because they are replete with comments.
Consequently, TikTok’s system will be able to detect if you have used keywords in your comment that is related to the video.
If the system is succeeded, that keyword will be linked to the search results and TikTok users can use it to reach the keyword’s search result.
If the video is new, it will be hard for the algorithm to decide if certain keywords in your comment are relevant to it or not.
As a result, it will reduce the chances of the keyword in your comment turning into a link.
That is the reason, my suggestion is to use the method on a popular video on the “For You” page instead of using your friend’s or your own videos.
