How to Fix Error 2618 in Tower of Fantasy

Are you facing an “Account (Character) error: 2618” issue in Tower of Fantasy?

In some cases, you will get the error message in Chinese instead of English.

According to Tower of Fantasy, their game servers are overcrowded.

In this post, I will tell you why it says “Error 2618” in Tower of Fantasy and how to fix it.

What does “Error 2618” mean in Tower of Fantasy?

Error 2618 in Tower of Fantasy means that the server has too many people.

Each server has a limit of a maximum of 3,000 people in the queue.

If this limit of 3,000 people in the queue exceed, you won’t be able to enter it.

Users are complaining about this issue on Twitter as well.

“I keep getting (random Chinese letters) 2618 and disconnected errors”.

“Fix the server, please. Can’t log in into my character at Anomora”.

“I don’t think it will be possible to claim the compensation in time if the servers stay that crowded. I still cannot log in because of error 2618”.

“I was able to get in and do the tutorial, but now it’s saying already logged into the game”.

“I believe it may be an error, its literal direct translation is “Number (role) out: 2618”

It seems to be the logging-in issue affects a lot of players trying to enter the game.

The servers are overloaded with players at the moment, so you’ll have to wait until there are fewer users in the queue.

How to fix “Error 2618” in Tower of Fantasy

2 methods to fix “Error 2618” in Tower of Fantasy:

  • Firstly, spam-click “Ok” until you get in the queue.
  • Secondly, move to a different server.

According to Tower of Fantasy, error 2618 means that the game’s servers are overcrowded.

Their recommendation is to try a different server if you’re getting the error.

On the other hand, you can get in the queue by spam-clicking “Ok”.

The error occurs because there can only be 3,000 players in a queue at one time in one server.

If there are over 3,000 players in a queue, you won’t be able to join it.

Therefore, you need to wait until someone is out of the queue before you get it.

Since the Tower of Fantasy is newly released, there are too many players trying to join the game.

The queue limit is imposed to avoid the load on the servers.

Unfortunately, the queue cannot get rid of the queue as it’s set by the developers of the game.
