How to Fix Feedback Required on Instagram

June 8, 2022 By Arsalan Rauf Leave a Comment

Are you getting a Feedback Required error on Instagram and do you want to fix it?

The error contains two variations.

The first variation is the “feedback_required” error message while the second variation is “Server error feedback required”.

Whichever error you get, it will temporarily restrict you from using one or more of Instagram’s features.

The features are logging in, liking posts, posting, and more.

In short, you’re receiving the “Feedback Required” error on Instagram because you’ve most likely repeated the same action too many times.

Consequently, Instagram has temporarily blocked your IP address (because the system thinks that you’re a bot).

In this post, I will tell you how to fix the “Feedback Required” error using 3 simple ways.

How to fix Feedback Required on Instagram

To fix Feedback Required on Instagram, you can either change your network from WiFi to mobile data (and vice-versa) or access your data on Instagram.

On the other hand, you can uninstall the Instagram app and reinstall it after 24 to 48 hours.

The “feedback_required” error on Instagram is a temporary error.

It can also occur when Instagram is down (you can check about it from the Down Detector website or use the Twitter)

Therefore, it will go away on its own after some time.

Usually, it takes 24-48 hours for the error message to be gone.

If you don’t want to wait, you can change your network from WiFi to a cellular network and vice-versa.

As a result, your IP address will be changed and lift the “feedback_required” error.

Another way that worked for other users is by accessing your data on Instagram.

The “feedback_required” error will be fixed when you access your data and let it load.

Here are 3 ways to fix Feedback Required on Instagram:

1: Switch from WiFi to cellular network and vice-versa

The first way to deal with it is to switch from WiFi to a cellular network.

If you’re already on a cellular network, you need to move to a WiFi network.

In addition, a VPN can also be tried for connecting.

When you get the “feedback_required” error on Instagram, it shows that your IP address is blocked temporarily.

By changing your network, you can also change your IP address.

As a result, the “feedback_required” error will be fixed.

If you’re an iPhone user, swipe up from the bottom of your screen and tap on the WiFi icon to turn on or off your WiFi.

After switching your network, force-close the Instagram app and re-open it.

Now, the “feedback_required” error should be lifted.

If this method did not work, you can use the second or third method.

2: Access your data on Instagram

The second way is to access your data on Instagram.

Many users claimed that the “feedback_required” error was lifted after they accessed their data on Instagram.

To begin with, go to your Instagram profile > Menu > Settings > Security > Access data.

This is a strange fix, but it worked for many users.

Here are some steps on how to do this:

Step 1. Go to your Instagram profile and tap on the menu

First of all, go to the Instagram app and log in to your account.

After opening it, tap on your profile picture on the bottom bar.

After tapping on your profile picture, it will take you to your Instagram profile.

Now, tap on the menu icon available on the top bar.

Step 2. Tap on “Settings”

After tapping on the menu icon, the menu will open.

The menu has multiple options.

The options are “Settings”, “Archive”, “Your activity”, and more.

To visit your settings, tap on “Settings”.

Step 3. Tap on “Security”

After tapping on “Settings”, it will take you to the settings page.

On the settings page, there are multiple options.

The options are “Privacy”, “Security”, “Payments”, and more.

To visit your security settings, tap on “Security”.

Step 4. Access your data and let it load

After tapping on “Security”, it will take you to your security settings.

There are multiple options on your security settings.

The options are “Password”, “Login activity”, “Saved login information”, and more.

There is an “Access data” option under the “Data and history” header.

Tap on “Access data” to access your Instagram data, provide your login details if asked, and let it load.

When it is successfully loaded, go back to your Instagram feed.

Now, force-close the Instagram app and re-open the application.

After re-opening the Instagram, the “feedback_required” error should be gone.

3: Uninstall Instagram and reinstall it after 24-48 hours

The last way is to uninstall Instagram and reinstall it after 24 to 48 hours.

On the other hand, you can try to wait for 1-2 days.

As I already mentioned that the “feedback_required” error on Instagram is a temporary error.

The error is displayed when someone makes an attempt to automation or span on the app.

As a result, it will eventually be removed after some time.

In fact, some users claimed that the error was fixed after a few hours.

If you want to be in the good books, you can uninstall Instagram and reinstall it after 48 hours.

This process will eliminate the most temporary blocks on Instagram.

Final Words

The “feedback_required” error is irritating for users because it restricts them from carrying out actions on Instagram.

It prevents you from logging in, liking posts, posting, and more.

Sometimes, you might get the error by mistake even though you didn’t repeat any actions.

You need to slow down on your actions in order to play safe on the IG app.

For instance, instead of commenting 15 times per minute, you need to comment 1 time per minute.

If you make the actions slower, you are more likely to remain safe from any temporary block on Instagram.

Another bonus method you can use is to change your Instagram bio and link your FB account in order to prove that you are not a robot.

How to Fix “Welcome to Instagram”

June 1, 2022 By Arsalan Rauf Leave a Comment

Are you getting a “Welcome to Instagram” message and do you want to fix it?

If yes, you won’t be able to see new posts on Instagram (only old posts will be shown).

The second part of the message is: “When you follow people, you’ll see the photos and videos they post here”

The error message will be shown when you’re new to Instagram or if you don’t follow anyone.

However, it can also occur due to a bug/glitch if you’re not new to Instagram.

In May 2022, a lot of users are facing the welcome screen even though they’ve been using Instagram for several years.

Consequently, a lot of them are confused as to why this happens.

In this post, I will tell you why you’re getting the “Welcome to Instagram” message and how to fix it.

Why my Instagram is showing welcome to Instagram?

Instagram is showing you “Welcome to Instagram” because you’re not an old user on Instagram or you’re not following anyone.

However, the message can also occur because of a bug/glitch.

In March 2022, many Instagram users reported this error message on their homepage.

However, most of them have been using Instagram for multiple years.

Although they follow a lot of people they are unable to see new posts there.

Other users can see posts on their homepage but only old posts are available even if they refresh the page.

It happened because Instagram was down on that day, and you can also face it today.

Therefore, if Instagram is down, you need to wait until the error is resolved.

How to fix “Welcome to Instagram”

To fix the “Welcome to Instagram” message, you first task you need to perform is to check if Instagram is down.

If Instagram is down, the ideal thing is to wait for a few hours until it’s back up.

Unfortunately, there is nothing in your hand that you can do to fix it by yourself if Instagram is down.

The reason for it is that the problem is not from your end but from Instagram’s.

However, if Instagram is not down, it indicates that you are a new Instagram user or you’re not following anyone.

In this case, you have to start following some people to get posts on your feed.

If the error persists and does not fix the “Welcome to Instagram” message, you can try uninstalling and reinstalling Instagram.

Method 1. Check if Instagram is down

The first thing is to ensure if Instagram is down.

There are a couple of methods to find out if Instagram is down.

First of all, go to downdetector.com and search for the term Instagram.

When you’re opening the website, ensure that you’ve selected the US version of it as it’s more accurate.

To begin with, click on the globe icon and choose “US”.

After reaching the page, there will be a graph called “Instagram outages reported in the last 24 hours”.

If there’s a huge spike in the graph, it indicates that Instagram is outraged.

There is another method to check if Instagram is down is to search for “Instagram down” on Twitter.

On the other hand, you can search for the error message that you’re getting and see if anyone reported it.

In addition, set to filter the tweets to “Top” and “Latest”.

Method 2. Wait for a few hours

If Instagram is down, you need to wait for a few hours until it is fixed from Instagram’s end.

Similarly, if Instagram is not down, you can also have the patience to see if it is a temporary bug or glitch.

In May 2022, the “Welcome to Instagram” message was a global issue for its users because it was down.

After a few hours, the message was not there and everyone was watching their feed again.

Other media sites also claimed that Instagram was down at that time.

Therefore, you can do a Google search for the terms “Instagram down” and know about the latest news.

If you’ve faced an error on Instagram, you’re most likely not the only one getting it.

Method 3. Follow people on Instagram

If you’re a new user of Instagram, you may get the “Welcome to Instagram” message too.

It happens when you skipped following people on Instagram.

You will not see any posts on your feed, if you’re not following anyone on Instagram.

You’ll see a “Welcome to Instagram” message that indicates that you need to follow people.

Therefore, to remove the message, you need to follow people.

After following some people, slide down your feed to refresh it.

After refreshing your feed, you will be able to see posts from people that you are following.

Final Words

Instagram has plenty of errors and issues keeping in view how long they’ve been on the App Store and Google Play Store.

In some cases, you will see the old posts only on your feed even if you have refreshed the page.

You should not be panicked if you face an issue on the app.

In most cases, it is a bug or glitch and your account is not hacked.

You can fix the most errors by simply waiting for a few hours.

In addition, try uninstalling and reinstalling Instagram as it can get rid of issues within the app.

The reason is that the cache of the app will be cleared and it will be updated to the latest version.

How to Fix “You may not be old enough to use Instagram”

June 1, 2022 By Arsalan Rauf Leave a Comment

Are you getting a “You may not be old enough to use Instagram” error and do you want to fix it?

The second part of the error message will be “We’ll disable your account within 30 days if you’re not able to confirm you’re at least 13”.

The last part of the error message is: “After this period, your account will not be recoverable”.

The error message is related to age, either you’ve set your age to below 13 or someone reported you as being under 13.

In some cases, you might face the error even though you’re of age.

In this post, I will tell you how to fix “You may not be old enough to use Instagram” and how long an Instagram appeal takes.

How to Fix “You may not be old enough to use Instagram”

To fix “You may not be old enough to use Instagram”, your task is to complete and submit the “Help Us Verify Your Age” form.

After submitting the form, wait for a few days for Instagram team to review it.

If successful, Instagram will send you an email that your account has been reactivated.

The “Help Us Verify Your Age” form will ask you to attach a photo of your ID.

The ID that you are going to submit needs to be government-issued.

Additionally, your face and date of birth should be visible clearly on the ID.

Just remember that your ID won’t be shown on your profile and the ID will be deleted after 30 days automatically.

ID will be used for the sake of verification purpose only.

Instagram might take time to review your appeal as they are getting a great number of appeals.

Therefore, you need to be patient to wait for several days before you get a response.

Here’s a step by step guide on how to fix “Help Us Verify Your Age” on Instagram:

Step 1. Go to the “Help Us Verify Your Age” form

To get started, you need to visit the “Help Us Verify Your Age” form.

To do so, open a web browser such as Chrome and go to Google’s search engine.

After reaching Google, search for the term “Help Us Verify Your Age”.

Open the search result that shows, “Help Us Verify Your Age” by Instagram.

On the other hand, you can go to the form directly on this URL: https://help.instagram.com/contact/730583250290732.

Here’s an alternate form if the previous one is not working for you: https://help.instagram.com/contact/293397334168432.

Step 2. Provide your information

The “Help Us Verify Your Age” form enables you to verify your age.

Your account is disabled on Instagram because they claim that you’re under 13 years old.

You need to give them your ID to prove that you’re over 13 years old.

First of all, enter your “Full name” into the “Full name” field.

Now, provide your email address in the “Email address” field.

The main point to consider while entering the email address that submit the email that is connected to your Instagram account.

Then, in the “Instagram username” field, enter your Instagram username.

For instance, if your Instagram username is “abcd”, enter “abcd” (without using quotation marks).

Now, you need to give your date of birth.

Just remember that you need to be 13 years old and above in order to use Instagram.

Step 3. Attach your ID

After providing your information, scroll down the form.

Now, the next thing is to provide a photo of a valid ID.

You need to ensure that your ID should have your face and date of birth before you take a photo of it so that Instagram can verify your age.

When you send a copy of your ID to Instagram, it will be encrypted and stored securely.

Additionally, it will not be shown on your profile and your ID will be kept private and will not be visible to friends, or to other people on Instagram.

After 30 days, your ID gets deleted automatically.

Now, capture a photo of your ID, tap on “Choose File”, and choose the photo that you’ve taken of your ID.

A piece of additional information can also be given in the “Any additional info” field.

In the end, tap on “Send” to send the form.

After sending the form, you need to wait for a few days to get response from Instagram.

If successful, you will receive an email from Instagram saying that your account has been reactivated.

How long does an Instagram age appeal take?

An Instagram age appeal typically takes 3-5 days to get a response.

It can take a while to review your appeal due to the overwhelming number of appeals on IG.

Therefore, you have to be patient and wait for several days before you get a response.

The email provided by you will receive a response via the email address.

If successful, Instagram will reactivate your account and send you an email saying that your account has been reactivated.

Otherwise, you might not receive a response and as a result, your account will be disabled after 30 days.

Final Words

Just remember that if you’re under 13 years old, you cannot use Instagram.

If you don’t have a valid ID card that proves your age over 13 years old, you cannot recover your account.

In this case, the best bet is to create a new Instagram account.

While you’re creating a new Instagram account, keep in mind that you need to set your date of birth to prove that you’re over 13 years old.

That way, you will not get “You may not be old enough to use Instagram” issue on Instagram and your account will not be disabled due to age.

How to Recover Deleted Instagram Posts

May 27, 2022 By Arsalan Rauf

Did you recently or accidentally delete an Instagram post and want to recover it?

If yes, you might be looking to restore or recover it.

In February 2021, Instagram introduced the “Recently Deleted” feature for its users.

The feature will help you to recover recently deleted posts.

Instagram knows that hackers can delete your posts, so the “Recently Deleted” feature will fix the issue.

In this post, I will tell you if Instagram keeps deleted photos and how to restore or recover deleted Instagram posts on Android/iOS.

Does Instagram keep deleted photos?

Yes, Instagram keeps deleted photos on the server for up to 30 days.

After 30 days, Instagram will delete your deleted posts (photos and videos) permanently.

After 30 days, you won’t be able to recover them.

On 3rd February, 2021, posts that you’ve deleted will be moved to the folder of “Recently Deleted”.

The folder has posts, stories, videos, and reels that you’ve deleted in the previous 30 days.

Select the post that you want to restore by selecting the post and tapping on “Restore”.

The post can also be deleted permanently by tapping on “Delete”.

How to recover deleted Instagram posts

To recover deleted Instagram posts, you need to go to “Your activity”.

After reaching there, tap on “Recently deleted” and choose the post that you want to restore.

After that, tap on “Restore” to recover it.

When you tap on “Restore”, the post will be displayed on your Instagram profile again.

It means that your followers will be able to see it again.

Just remember that you can only restore posts that were deleted within 30 days.

After 30 days, your deleted posts will be permanently deleted from the “Recently deleted” folder.

In short, you cannot recover any post that you’ve deleted after 30 days.

The only way to recover it is if you have it saved in your photo gallery.

Here’s a step by step guide on how to recover deleted Instagram posts:

Step 1. Go to “Your activity”

To get started, go to Instagram and navigate to your profile.

Once you reach your profile, tap on the menu icon on the top bar.

Since you want to recover deleted Instagram posts, tap on “Recently deleted”.

After tapping on “Recently deleted”, it will take you to the “Recently Deleted” page.

The “Recently Deleted” page will allow you to view and manage content that you’ve recently deleted such as photos, videos, reels, and more.

A timer is also present that tells when each post will be permanently deleted.

For instance, if you’ve just deleted an Instagram post today, it will display the “30 days” timer.

It indicates that you have 30 days to restore the post before it gets permanently deleted.

Lastly, you need to select the Instagram post that you want to restore.

Step 4. Tap on “Restore”

After selecting the Instagram post that you want to recover, it will take you on that post.

Now, it will show you the full-sized post.

There are three dots on the top right corner of the post.

You can access a couple of options by tapping on the three dots.

The first option enables you to delete the post permanently.

The second option enables you to recover the post.

Tap on “Restore” to restore the Instagram post.

After tapping on “Restore”, the post will be back on your profile.

You can check this by visiting your profile and seeing if the post is back.

On your profile, your followers will also be able to see the post again.

However, if you’ve deleted the post from your archive, you cannot recover it to your feed.

It will be moved to your archive instead.

You can access your archive by navigating to your Instagram profile > Menu > Archive.

To restore the post to your profile, you can unarchive the post.

Final Words

Sometimes, you might delete one of your Instagram posts accidentally.

Or, you might have deleted an Instagram post and wanted to restore it.

Either way, you can restore the post by moving it to the “Recently Deleted” folder.
