How to Hide Reactions on Facebook

April 14, 2022 By Arsalan Rauf

Facebook reactions are added in the like button.

They have come up with multiple reactions that you can use.

The reactions are Like, Love, Care, Haha, Wow, Sad and Angry.

But what if you want to hide reactions on Facebook?

You can hide reactions on Facebook by using the setting called “Reaction preferences”.

You need to select hide the number of reactions on your posts and other people’s posts in the “Reaction preferences” setting.

In this post, I will show you how to hide likes or reactions on Facebook by modifying your reaction preferences.

How to hide reactions on Facebook

To hide reactions on Facebook, the first thing is to visit the “Reaction preferences” setting.

After navigating to reaction preferences setting, you can choose to hide the number of reactions not only on your posts but on other people’s posts as well.

You need to enable “On posts from others” and “On your posts” to do that.

After doing so, reactions will be hidden on posts from others and on your posts.

You will not be able to see reactions from others when you enable “On posts from others”.

Alternatively, if you enable “On your posts”, it will hide the reactions on your posts that you post on your profile.

However, reaction counts will still be visible in groups and pages.

There are 3 steps to hide reactions on Facebook:

Step 1. Open the Facebook app and visit your settings

To get started, tap on fb app to open the Facebook mobile app and log in to your account.

The desktop version of Facebook can also be used for it.

I have used the Facebook mobile app to complete this guide.

Once you open the Facebook mobile app, tap on the menu icon available on the bottom bar.

As a result, it will show you a Facebook menu with multiple options.

Now, scroll down the menu and tap on “Settings & Privacy” to explore it.

There are four options under “Settings & Privacy”.

The options are “Settings”, “Device requests”, “Recent ad activity”, and “Find Wi-Fi”.

Since you want to hide reactions, tap on “Settings”.

Step 2. Tap on “Reaction preferences”

After tapping on the “Settings”, it will take you on the “Settings & Privacy” page.

You can modify your account preferences and settings on that page.

These settings can be your account information, password, reaction preferences, and so on.

Tap on “Reaction preferences” available under the “Preferences” header in order to visit your reaction preferences.

Step 3. Enable both preferences

After tapping on the “Reaction preferences”, there are a couple of options you will see.

The options are “On posts from others” and “On your posts”.

The both options are disabled by default.

Therefore, if you want to hide reactions of fb, you need to enable both options.

When the option is enabled “On posts from others”, you will not be able to see the count of reactions for posts others share to your News Feed, groups and pages.

However, you will still see the counts of reactions on posts available in other places including reels, Marketplace.

Additionally, you can still see the reaction to a post and everyone else until you enable “On your posts”.

When you enable “On your posts”, other people won’t see the total number of reactions under posts you post on your account.

However, the counts of reactions will be visible to your posts in other places including groups and reels.

After enabling the “On posts from others” and “On your posts”, the reactions of Facebook will be hidden!

How do I make my likes private on Facebook?

  1. Open the Facebook app on your android and log in to your account.
  2. Tap on the menu icon.
  3. Scroll down and tap on “Settings & Privacy”.
  4. Now, tap on “Settings”.
  5. Tap on “Reaction preferences” under “Preferences”.
  6. Enable “On posts from others” and “On your posts”.

Who can see my likes and comments on Facebook?

Anyone on Facebook can see your likes and comments.

However, the users who post something on the profile can control who can see it.

It contains sharing the post to a specific audience such as to friends only or the public.

In addition, the person can always change the audience regardless of the time frame.

For instance, you can change the audience of the post from “Friends” to “Public” whenever you want.

If the viewers of the post are set to “Public”, it means that you have allowed people to see the likes and comments.

Alternatively, if you have set the audience of the post to “Friends”, your friends will be able to see the comments and likes.

Final Words

Reactions are meant to express yourself on posts of Facebook.

However, if the user engagement is not good on your posts, it is highly recommended to hide them.

There is no benefit of turning on the reactions if you don’t get enough.

Facebook enables you to hide reactions on posts so no one can react to your posts.

Whenever you hide reactions, the settings can be re-enabled at any time.

How to Add Music to Your Facebook Post

April 11, 2022 By Arsalan Rauf

To add music to your Facebook post, your task is to create a post and choose a photo or video.

After selecting a photo or video, you need to tap on “Edit”, tap on “Music”, and select a song.

In the end, you need to tap on “Post” to post the video or photo!

In addition, you need to ensure that you preview the music before you post it.

The lyrics of the song will be shown on the post as a sticker by default.

You can change the lyrics by tapping on it if you do not want to see the lyrics and change it to the title of the song.

Here is a step by step guide on how to add music to your Facebook post.

Step 1. Create a post

Firstly, you need to create a post on Facebook.

This step will allow you to add music to it.

First of all, go to the FB app and log in to your account if you are not login yet.

The desktop version can also be used for this purpose.

For the sake of this guide, I am using the FB app.

After reaching the Facebook app, you need to tap on “What’s on your mind”.

It will enable you to create a new Facebook post.

Step 2. Select a photo or video

After tapping on the “What’s on your mind”, you will reach the “Create post” page.

There are multiple options available on the page.

The options are “Photo/video”, “Tag people”, “Feeling/Activity”, and more.

To get started with the music, you need to select a photo or a video.

You can do it by tapping on “Photo/video”.

Step 3. Tap on “Edit”

After tapping on the “Photo/video”, your camera roll will open.

If the camera roll is not open, it means that you haven’t allowed Facebook to access your photos.

You need to follow the steps to allow Facebook to access the photos on an iPhone: Settings > Facebook > Photos > All Photos.

Now, you need to choose a video or photo that you want to add music to.

Let’s suppose, you have chosen a photo of bird for it.

After choosing it, there will be an “Edit” button.

To get started with the editing, Tap on “Edit”.

Step 4. Tap on the “Music” icon

After tapping on the “Edit”, you will land on the photo editing page.

This will help you to edit this photo.

The editing page enables you to crop the photo, add music, add stickers and so on.

You need to tap on the “Music” icon at the top of the page to begin adding music to your Facebook post.

Step 5. Select a song

After tapping on the “Music” icon available at the top of the page, you will open the “Music” menu.

It will show you the list of music.

The list that contains the music is suggested by Facebook to you.

Now, the next thing is to search for the music that you want to add to your Facebook post and use it.

You can use the search to choose one of the listed categories as well as the artist of the song.

On the other hand, you can also use one of the recommendations of music by Facebook.

Tap on “See All” option to expand the list of the suggested music.

Let’s suppose that you like “GOOD TIME” by Niko Moon and want to add it.

To add the song to your post on FB, tap on “GOOD TIME”.

Step 6. Post the photo or video

After tapping on the music, Facebook will add it to your post.

The lyrics of the song will be shown on the photo or video as a sticker by default.

Tap on the sticker and start editing it.

You can also change the type of sticker when you tap on it.

The first few sticker types enable you to change the sticker’s font.

In order to prevent the lyrics to display in the song, you can also change the sticker type to the name of song.

You need to scroll to the right of the sticker types to do it.

After making your desired changes to the stickers, tap on “Done” to save your changes.

Now, you can preview your Facebook post.

After adding music to a photo, the settings are set to 13 seconds long.

The last thing is tap on “Post” to post the photo or video with music on Facebook!

Final Words

Facebook has a feature that enables you to add music to your video or photo.

If you are not allowed to add music, it means that the feature is not available in your area/region.

In this case, the best way is to wait until the music sticker is available for you too.

On the other hand, you can also edit the photo or video somewhere else before you publish it on Facebook.

It will add music to your post, photo or video without using the music sticker.

There are free editing tools available on the web to do that.

How to Hide Facebook Photos from Friends or Public

April 9, 2022 By Arsalan Rauf

Do you have a collection of Facebook photos on your profile?

If yes, you might be looking for ways to hide them from public and your friends.

However, hiding all of your Facebook photos at once or hiding them in bulk is a hard nut to crack.

The simple way to do it is by hiding the photos one by one.

In addition, you can also change the privacy of your individual photos to “Only me”.

By doing this, only you will be able to see your Facebook photos.

However, if you have added numerous pics, it will take forever to do that.

In this post, I am going to show you how to hide Facebook photos, how to hide all photos or photos that you’re tagged in.

How to hide Facebook photos

Here’s a step by step guide on how to hide Facebook photos from public and your friends:

  • Firstly, visit the Facebook app and go to your profile.
  • Go to the photo that you want to hide.
  • Tap on the three dots on top of the photo.
  • Now, tap on “Edit Privacy”.
  • Select “Only me”.
  • Tap on “Done”.

After editing the privacy of your photo to “Only me”, only you can see it.

The public or your friends will not be able to see the photo.

Before you get started, you need to know that this method is suitable if you want to hide a few photos on Facebook.

This method is not suitable for you if you want to hide a lot of photos.

This is because it will take forever to edit the privacy of each photo to “Only me”.

If you have hundreds of photos, this method can keep you busy for hours.

If you want to hide hundreds of pics, you can see the second option in this guide.

How to hide all Facebook photos

  • Firstly, go to Facebook app and visit your profile.
  • Scroll down your profile and tap on “Photos”.
  • Choose the “Albums” tab.
  • Now, choose the album that you want to hide.
  • Tap on the three dots.
  • Tap on “Edit album”.
  • Select “Friends” (or choose the privacy setting which are currently being used).
  • Select “Only me”.
  • Tap on “Done”.

When you hide an album, all of the photos inside the album will be hidden too.

It means that if your album on your Fb profile contains a lot of photos in it, the process will hide all of them.

After doing so, only you can see the photos—it will not be shown to your friends and the public.

Having said that, hiding an album is the ideal way to hide FB photos from your account.

If you want to hide all the photos from public and friends, you need to set the privacy setting to “Only me” for all of your albums.

As a result, the majority of the pics on your Facebook profile will be hidden.

To hide the rest of the photos on your profile, you can move on to the next method in this article.

How to hide Facebook photos that you’re tagged in

  • Firstly, open your Facebook app and tap on the “Menu” icon available on the bottom bar.
  • Now, scroll down and tap on “Settings & Privacy”.
  • Choose “Settings”.
  • Choose “Profile and tagging”.
  • Tap on “Who can see posts that you’re tagged in on your profile” option under “Tagging”.
  • Now, select “Only me”.

Now, after choosing the “Only me” settings, only you will be able to see the posts that you’re tagged in on your profile.

In normal cases, if any of your friend tags you in a post, the post will be displayed on your profile.

Your friends can see the post by default settings.

However, you can change the privacy settings in order to decide who will be able to see the posts that you’re tagged in and change it to “Only me”.

The process will make all of the posts disappear that you’re tagged in on your profile from your friends and the people.

When you hide your albums and individual posts on your profile, the process makes your profile more or less private.

Final Words

You can prevent stalkers on Facebook by hiding your photos.

The ideal way to keep the stalkers away is to set all of your privacy settings to “Only me”.

The settings include “Your Activity” and “How People Find and Contact You”.

It will prevent the public to see most of your FB profile.

Unluckily, you cannot set your Facebook account to private like Instagram by using a single option.

How to Know Who Viewed Your Facebook Profile

April 7, 2022 By Arsalan Rauf

The public can see your Facebook profile if have not changed your Facebook’s privacy settings.

Everyone will be able to see your posts, friends, and stories.

You can change your privacy settings by doing these steps including Facebook app > Menu > Settings & Privacy > Settings.

If you are quite active on FB, you may have a lot of visitors on your profile too.

You may want to know who viewed your Facebook profile.

This will help you to determine or you’ll know who are your “stalkers”.

In this post, I am going to teach if you can see who visited your Facebook profile and how to know who viewed your Facebook profile.

Can you see who visited your Facebook profile?

No, you cannot see who visited your profile on FB because the application does not offer people tracking.

Do not worry if Facebook doesn’t allow you to know who views your profile, the other way is to post a story and see who viewed it.

When you post a story on Facebook, you can see the viewers.

After posting a story, wait for a few hours and come back to check who viewed it.

It is the best method to know who visited your Facebook profile.

In addition, it will only allow you to see your friends who viewed your stories.

You cannot see the names of the people who viewed your stories.

They will be shown under “Other Viewers” instead.

It shows that people who are not in your friends list on Facebook viewed your story.

If you have set your stories to public, you will be able to see “Other viewers”.

On the other hand, if the stories are set to private, the public will not be able to see it.

How to know who viewed your Facebook profile

To know who viewed your Facebook profile, the first thing you need to do is to post a story.

After posting a story, wait for some time and see who views your story.

The people who see your story frequently are the users who visit your profile the most.

They can be from your family or friends too.

However, if your stories are set to public, anyone can view them.

If someone is listed under “Other viewers”, it means that the user is not friends with you on FB.

Unfortunately, you cannot see the “Other viewers”, it is because FB does not allow it.

Therefore, it is suggested that your stories should be set to “Friends” so only your friends can view them.

The process includes these steps: tap on creating a story > selecting a photo/video > Privacy > Friends > Save > Share to story.

Can people tell that I’ve seen their Facebook profile?

No, people cannot tell that you’ve seen their Facebook profile.

You cannot do it because FB does not have a feature for it.

Additionally, even the third-party apps are unable to do it.

Therefore, you do not need to worry about visiting someone’s profile on Facebook as they will not be able to track you.

However, if you view someone’s Facebook story, they can track you.

The rule only applies if you’re friends on FB with that person.

If you are not in the person’s friend list, you’ll be listed as a viewer under “Other viewers”.

The list of “Other Viewers” does not show the names of the user there.

Having said that, you have found a method to view someone’s story without them knowing.

You can do it by using another account in which the user is not friends with you.

Is there an app that tells you who visited your Facebook profile?

No, currently there is no app that tells you who visited your Facebook profile.

According to Facebook, even third party apps are unable to provide this feature.

If you see any app that claims of offer this feature, you need to report it.

Currently, the apps available can help you to track who unfriended you on Facebook.

For instance, the “Still Friends” app offers this functionality.

The app is very popular on the App Store as well as on the Play Store with more than 1 million downloads.

The app is easy to use and it offers real-time updates.

In addition, it offers a clean and intuitive interface.

In the end, it can also store all-time history and sync it with iCloud so you won’t lose it.

You need to keep in mind that this application is not linked to Facebook in any way.

However, the trackers of Instagram are more famous due to their feature to track your unfollowers.

Final Words

If you want to stop other people to browse your profile, you can hide your Facebook photos from the public.

This will prevent the public from seeing your posts whenever anyone visits your Facebook profile.

In some regions, you can also make your Facebook account private same as your Instagram account.

Unfortunately, if the feature is not available for you, you need to manually modify your privacy settings.

Currently, I do not know whether Facebook will roll out the feature to everyone or not.
